The view was very nice, right on the Amstel river, giving you the sensation you were actually floating. Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.

Spacious apartment in a lovely quiet location 2 minutes walk from the zoo and easily accessible either on foot or via regular trams to city centre.
Easy walk to 'Nemo' science centre too, and the excellent Maritime Museum. A haven from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam!

We stayed at a newly renovated room and the design and comfort was perfect, room was also very clean. - Very comfortable bed, very good breakfast, tea/coffee maker. In our room there was a bathroom with (dark) glass wall - so you can see what's happening inside from the room - you have to decide on your own whether it's a plus or not :)
