secluded pool. Especially as a woman it was nice to have a place that
was safe and assessible to have a drink! It's also nice to have a

La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged
jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was
nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under
the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got
what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet
friendly people.

Good location right next to the grand taxis. We were met at the taxi stand by the owner's brother and directed to the hotel, despite the fact that we hadn't thought to advise our expected arrival time. Clean and simple rooms with heating, cooling and piles of blankets to take away the chill. Good wifi connection throughout the building. -

We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! W

The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The room is wide with windows open to outside, making a good airflow even though we had to withstand the children's play

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, with fantastic attention to detail in all the carved ceilings and furniture in the rooms. We had a peaceful and relaxing night that was just what we needed in the middle of a rather stressful Morocco trip. Amazing showers!
