Wonderful quaint hotel, the staff very friendly & accomodating. The complementary breakfasts were a plus & very good. This hotel will be our go-to place for sure and we definately recommend the Rosita to others! Muchas Gracias and we will see you all next year!!. The location is excellent, the rooms are simple and clean, the hotel is full of old world charm. It's not a young crowd that stays there, but you're right on the boardwalk with access to anything you need. Super clean and friendly. I'd go back anytime.
wszystkie opinie » We like the Rosita: the spacious lounge/lobby, the pool by the water, at the start of the Malacon, down the hill from Barcelona, a walk into the market area along the water. We stayed here over 10 years ago and it was lovely to be back. The location was perfect. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Margaritas were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return. The traditional mexican decor, the location was terrific (right on the Malecon), nice pool, not too crowded, good value. Location is excellent. Staff was very friendly & tried to be helpful but their English was very limited. The traditional feel of the hotel, great view of the ocean, access to malecon, laid back atmosphere. the location. great sea view room and the waves rocked us to sleep. friendly staff. Very traditional Mexican atmosphere. Enjoyed the guitar and singer entertainment. Right on the ocean. Easy to get around. Beautiful views. Helpful staff. Rustic, not the regular all-inclusive, attractive, Mexican flavour. pool, nice and quite--close to all things you need to do. Love the hotel - location/ambiance great. Our only concern was the beds are a little too hard. We like the fact that it is not all foreigners staying there - a mix of everyone. It was sometimes a little difficult negotiating in English with front desk but a busboy or someone was always around to interpret and help us out. Early morning noise from the moving of chairs in the lobby under our room and the music often too loud. The breakfast became quite boring. Lighting was insufficient for reading . Hard, small beds; inclusive breakfast was very very basic (scrambled eggs, refried beans and bread); a bit noisy from the staff in the mornings. 4th floor room requested on high floor when booking hotel months in advance was not available. Room assigned was on 1st floor which was very rustic with no updated features. We were given option of taking a room on 4th floor but not direct ocean front as paid for. Finally agreed on this room & was fine but only partial ocean view. We booked an ocean view room but were given a room looking over the roof. We were changed to an excellent room ocean view room when we pointed out the error. The change was made easily and quickly. the hotel is old and the shabby. room is smallish. furniture is tired. the breakfast was ok. the drink were...odd. Poor shower head. Beds are uncomfortable and not sure bed spreads are clean. Rooms are dark. service was very poor at restaurant and pool. When delivering an order no dirty dishes nor refuse was removed. No wait staff watched over patrons poolside. Some wait staff great but most appeared disinterested/bored. Not a great 'customer service is the key' training noted. Didn't seem busy from the 14th -19th march. Even on the bbq night there was not a good turnout and yet the price 195 pesos per, was obviously too high to bring in even a mildly curious diner. Sometimes specials and reductions will increase attendance. Problem with reservations not readily available. breakfast ugh beans and something unrecognizable. The free breakfeast, not good food. We could have been compensated with a free meal or drink!! Something to show their concern for our comfort.
