The hotel is full of old world charms, some beautiful original features. While out room was small it served our needs well. Bathroom was small but manageable. Great location, friendly and helpful staff were amazing. Hotel has seen better days, but a treasure in its current form. Patio restaurant had a great view of the cathedral next door and was a good place to relax. Food very good.....nice to come here after a long day and relax and soak in the ambience. I would stay here again and am missin. wszystkie opinie »
The location is fantastic, right next to the cathedral and main plaza, close to many restaurants, cafés and bars.

Colonial style rooms in the center of Merida.
It is a beautiful colonial hotel with a great location in centro - the
staff were helpful and friendly.
Lying in a hammock in the garden bar looking at the palm trees and church towers.
Location Old world ambiance.
Toilets a little cramped.
Pool needs cleaning.
Gymnastics needed in the bathroom-cupboard.
The dust! Not very well cleaned. Bathrooms. Ok
The stairs!.
Small bathrooms.
We got charged an extra 1780 pesos at checkout time which they could not
explain to my satisfaction. I know there is 19% tax on top of your rate
($406.00us) but 1780 pesos is quite a bit more, si? Also, we spent one
night with no air conditioning ( broken) and their wifi connection was
spotty at best. Another day with no running water in our room and a half
day with no cold water, only scalding hot. Their electronic key cards
also failed a good many times.
The room was dark with no glass in the windows only a thick wooden door to the balcony. The shower room had no ventilation and was smelly. The street noise was terrible. Unpleasant and expensive and unused restaurant.
Floors require more attention Light breakfast should be included Staff
should be informed of local cultural activities current for each week
and also supply a small comprehensive map of Merida. No elevator
service. Three flights of stairs can be a problem for the elder crowd.
