Private room for 4 persons is clean and roomy, I am totally surprised that we got this big room for the price 2400 yen per person.
In the 4 persons room there are power plug of every bed, and a table with 4 chair which is useful to discuss travel plan tomorrow with friends or have meal or sneaks together. There is a showroom and toilet too.

Incredible value for money! I was really surprised to find such a fantastic well kept room for so little money. Our traditional Japanese room was cosy, clean and very modern. The bathroom was also nicely designed. The guest house is conveniently located and, despite some of the comments I read, easy to find. The owner will provide you with a super detailed map and pictures so you cannot go wrong!! The owner is a really nice friendly guy who speaks good english. I cannot recommend this place eno

Very friendly staff - knowledgeable and helpful and really kind.
We've stayed in 4 hotels over the past 10 days in Japan and this is easily the best; much better than the place we stayed in Kyoto for 1.5 times the price. If you want to visit Kyoto AND Nara, just stay here and do a day trip

One of the best places that we stayed at. Incredibly cheap, and absolutely amazing value for the price. The room was really cute and cozy and the futons were really comfy. The wifi was good and reliable, and they also had desktops and printers available in the common room, as well as free reading material, tea and coffee facilities, maps and a kitchen. It's really close to the station - within walking distance, even with large and heavy suitcases. The staff there were what really made our stay

Alot of amentities around the hotel - restaurants, supermarkets.
The Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and managed to get a kid size bike for my girl.

This was a very good Ryokan in Nara for a quite reasonable price as far as Ryokan pricing goes (the dinner and breakfast were worth more than $120, potentially $200 just for those two in some locations). They also have a onsen which was quite enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel New Wasaka. The staff has been really
helpful since my arrival till even after I checked out. Especially, this
hotel has several English-speaking staff and made my stay much easier.
The food is excellent and good value for money. The Kaseiki comes with
many Japanese small dishes, fresh sashimi and yummy beef shabu. Location
is convenient too. 10 minute walk from Kintetsu station and walkable to
Todaiji. This places offer very cool traditional Japanese rooms too
