  The room was exceptional in this hotel. The Verona arena was just a 10 minute walk from the hotel and coming home from the opera after midnight was a very safe walk without any fears for safety.   Location was excellent - so very close to all the tourist bits. Staff were really really helpful and friendly. It was very clean. Rooms were good size with great air conditioning.   Location is right in the centre near Arena. The hotel is very cute in an ancient building. Two stylish old ladies at the reception ( the owners I guess ) were very friendly. They gave us a discount while we were paying as we missed our breakfast. And we were asked to pay at check out.   This hotel has an excellent location it is situated very near both to the railway station and the center - Piazza Bra where Arena Di Verona is. It takes about 10 minutes walking to reach the center or the station. The breakfast is just sufficient, not rich, but it is enough. I would definetely recommend th - There was a pretty courtyard for breakfast, and a fridge near Reception from which you could buy drinks, including wine and beer, at very reasonable prices. Verona Centre was a brisk 15 minute walk, but there's a supermarket at the end of the street, and a few good restaurants nearby. I really recommend Pizzeria Napoli, less than 2 blocks from the hotel; food and service were great.

  I was very pleasntly surprised by it all, the location was fantastic, very central, the hotel was of a very high standard, clean and warm. The staff, which were mainly family were extremely helpful and very friendly and were very accomodating to our needs.   Very nice and friendly stuff, the environment - genuine Italien quarter, fresh bread and a lot of coffee and milk for the breakfast, quite and calm street on nights, no traffic - Near bus stop in quiet block,friendly people. Cosy and clean room.
