  Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though). They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. Alessio, Silvio, Francesca, and Stefan were wonderful and welcoming in every way. It made for a family type of environment, which was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the islands. I would definitely recommend Mamma Santina without hesitation.

  The staff is great, always gentle and friendly. Gianfranco, the owner, is always willing to help and give information concerning the island of Salina. Breakfasts are abundant and very well prepared with a wide selection of food. The view from the terrace of the apartments as well as from the breakfast terrace is absolutely great! The best thing is the main terrace which has stunning views to the sea and stromboli in good weather. The hotel has no swimming pool so it is indeed very quiet.

  The amazing photographs can only say so much about this beautiful, peaceful hotel located on the lower slopes of the island of Salina. Every day that I met the hotel owners Arcangelo and his partner Tata I was met with a warm and friendly greeting, like coming home to a family house rather than a hotel. Tata is the consummate hostess who bakes fresh cake every morning as part of the plentiful breakfast. The morni - We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Residence Arcangelo. All the staff were very helpful and made sure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Archangelo was always interested in how we were enjoying the island of Salina, he also made sure that we had whatever we may have needed to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone as a base to explore the Island. We thank you Arcangelo and staff for a memorable 4 days of island life.
