  The hostess was very friendly and hospitable. She provided us with useful hints and advises what to do on the island. The location is relatively quiet and close to the port and the bus stop. The breakfasts are good and the dinner meal was also very tasty.

  I'he met the manager he was very friendly and a very nice person. The staff are excellent. They gave me the feeling as in home. The history of the villa is very interesting. There is a piano in the lobby which belongs to the original owner - a known musician who used to host his artistic friends.   Great hotel in an excellent setting. It has amazing views and is a short walk down to the beach, where there is a great bar. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had booked an economy double room, but when we got there we were given a double room with a sea view and balcony for the same price.   Wonderful landscape, friendly staff, good food. the best we expected. Open Gate is the place we will choose again for the next visit on Amalfi Coast. - We had a great stay. The family was wonderful. The view from the rooms was excellent. We will come back next year for 2 weeks.

The owner is a spectacular lady - she loaned us a map of the Path of the Gods and recommended plenty of hikes which proved to be no less spectacular than the Path of the Gods.
