We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo.

line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a
suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They
supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice
toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a
balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with
its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the

We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island.

The hotel is well positioned - about a 8-10minute walk from town and bus/train station but therefore away from busy streets. The view across to Vesuvius is fantastic. The rooms were big and bright. The staff at the desk were friendly and had good English. The location could not have been any better- beside lovely restaurants, across from the marina. The room was cleaned every day sportlessly. - Their kindness was really amazing, and a location of the hotel is excellent!
