  One star hotel?! You must be kidding me! That is an awesome place! i will give 3 stars to it if you'll ask me! The lady at the front desk doesnt speak english but other staff knows well. The doors close at 9pm. So you would be given a password to punch in when u get back to the hotel after 9pm. Good location cuz its right next to the tram station. Metro station is 15 minute walk. Tram takes you to the Duomo within 10 minutes. Quiet and clean spacious rooms.   The staff was very warm and kind. My first night, I came back to my room in the evening and it smelled like smoke. Likely because a neighbor was illicitly smoking. The manager felt bad about that and couldn't move my room that night but did so the next morning. He also upgraded my room as compensation.   Very good hotel for normal price. Good localization - only 3min walking distance to the main street in Milan with famous shops. About 7min of walking to railway station (and bus station). Very quiet area, no problem with sleeping (no noises outside) which is a big plus in such a big city which never sleeps. Hotel staff - The hotel is really good for the very modest price. We had everything we needed in the room including very cheap wifi. The room has a conditioner that is really useful in Italia. The room and bathroom are rather small but for this price I believe one wouldn't expect for a royal palace! The room completely suits the travellers who prefer sightseeing all day long - as we do!
