During summer it can be served on the terrace overlooking the cathedral. The bed and breakfast is less than a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Station and just 400 metres from Ponte Vecchio.

The location - just round the corner from the Duomo: from the terrace there was a clear view to the Duomo, Baptistry and the Campanile. The room was very good, well furnished and with plenty of space. The staff couldn't have been more helpful; they suggested possible places to eat - we only went to one of them, which was so outstanding (and good value) that we went back. Silvia who we met on arrival was wonderful helping us with parking arrangements for our car . She made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant on the opposite side of the Arno river where we had the best meal in Florence. Excellent cappuccino for Breakfast on the terrace facing the Duomo wow what a view. The location is absolutely fantastic.
wszystkie opinie » Location was perfect. Walking distance from the train station. Loved the ability to sit outside for breakfast and take in the sights, smells and sounds. Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful for all requests including taking care of our bookings at the local museums and restaurants. Set up for 2 adults and 1 child in room was perfect. The staff were very friendly and wonderful. They were very helpful, warm, willing to assist in any way. The facilities were amazingly centrally located and the value for what we received was excellent. Loved the elevator for getting our luggage up to the 4th floor. The hotel is situated in the center of Firenze and it is possible to go everywhere by walk.The stuff is so friendly and great to feel just like staying at home instead of a hotel.It will be my first choise for my next travel .. We liked everything about the B&B. Our room had a good view of the Duomo. And specially the Breakfast area has a clear and beautiful view. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and good location. The location couldn't be better, right next door to the Duomo. I even had a room with a view of the Duomo. The staff (Sylvia) was very friendly. Breakfast was all right. The rooms were very nice and well kept. The staff were helpful and friendly coming back after hours to open up for us. Great central location (minus loud bells each hour from nearby church). Nice enough staff. Nothing, really. I could imagine that in poor weather the breakfast facilities might be a bit crowded, but in fine weather (which we had) we could sit out on the terrace. Breakfast a little skimpy. B&B is located on the fourth floor and god help you if the elevator is not working. Total of 108 steps.. Nothing. The reception opening hours can be a problem. We didn't notice when we booked, but our plane arrived at 22.30 hours and the reception staff leaves at 17.00 hours. So we had to book another hotel with a 24h reception to have a room for the first night. The staff leaving at five is understandable as it is such a small hotel, but beware when you book: you have to arrive in time, otherwise you'll have a big problem. Little bit of mildew by the window a bit unsettling. Street noise!!!. Very, very small shower. I would recommend removing the shower stall and using a curtain for more ease of movement. I had to open the door to shave my legs and I'm a small lady. Very hard to arrive by car. We guided to the hotel by the hotel front desk for about 15 minth by phone. GPS was lost it's direction and take us in cercle all over the city. Brakefast was very poor. Parking very expensive. Absence of staff after 5.00 p.m. Bathroom, in fact shower is behind the material "curtain"- it is rather not acceptable if you pay 100 to 140 euro per night. Brekfast is very, very poor. Small pieces of chesse, unfresh bread and croissant ( every day unfresh ). I suppose due to existing regulations owner must serve a brekfast, but common... Uncomfortable beds. Hair all over bathroom, and on sheets and blankets. Overall musty/ dusty smell of room.
