  New, clean, sunny, comfy bed, large room with place for suitcases, kids slept in next room (ages 10 & 12), beautiful pool, breakfast on terrace. We slept well here and relaxed by the pool. Restaurants 1 km away. Air conditioning worked well and not noisy.   Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)
