I stayed here for two nights with 25 friends. The service and staff was excellent. I felt they done everything to make us welcome and we had the best weekend. the food was really really good too. it was value for money. I would defiantly come back and stay again.
The shower was warm but not really hot.

This was a last-minute booking, with no prior expectation other than reviews on letsbookhotel.com. We enjoyed absolutely everything about the experience. As I said to some friends today, we didn't just get service, we got engagement. All the people who work there seem to love their jobs and their place of work. Their contentment was contagious! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, very well equipped and in a superb location with delightful views. We had dinner in the bar, fabulous food at a great price, brought to us by good humoured, helpful, efficient staff. Add all of that to an amazing location, sure we just had a wonderful time! Thanks to all of you who looked after us!

The extra space of an apartment was great. Awesome view and we liked not being in the center of town while not being completely out of the action...we'd stay there again.

Stayed in apartment. Staff were great. Had buzzing problem with Hall light. They fixed it immediately. Very clean apartment. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast also.
Just the buzzing of the light and fire alarm but staff fixed this immediately for us.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the place.
Staff and premises were top of the class. We arrived a day early and were told that it was not a problem. Shane, Martin and the team are top class. Food and service were excellent. We will be staying again.
Wi-Fi was not great in apartments the same for the tv.
i like coz its near the places where you going. value of money and the excellent staff, who were helpful and cheerful at all time.
no locked on each bedroom door and bathroom door. lighting not excellent.no cable channel for tv and no tv provide for all the rooms for free which means should be included in the package. but still well recommended.
3 couples stayed in the 3 bed appart. Welcome pack on arrival. Really friendly staff. Appart was lovely lots of hot water beds really comfortable, bed linen crisp and fresh ! Food in the helm was really lovely, you have to book a table for dinner. Breakfast was nice with any combinations available nothing to much trouble ! Will definitely be back.
Few steps up to the apartments but not really a complaint
Outstanding service will most definitely be back, they catered for 22 girls on a hen party and were so friendly, could not have been more helpful. Can't wait to visit it again!

Nothing wrong the Helm but the reception at the Leisure Centre was very cold when they realised we were at the Helm. Noticed by everyone in our group.
I could not see ratings for each sub section above and just want to clarify that I rated The Helm as the best possible rating. We thoroughly enkoy we'd our stay there.
The double turned out to be a three room apartment.
The apartment was in need of maintenance. The patio advertised was just the common entry area and was dirty and unattractive.

Smell of stale smoke big drawback...didn't realise smoking was allowed in apartment . There was an ashtray in living area. No bathtub. Didn't like the very uncomfortable plastic mattress covers on bed. We were able to manage the many stairs to gain access in and also stairs to upstairs toilet, but should have been told about this in advance.
Apartments were very spacious and comfortable, there was a lovely welcome pack on arrival, food in restaurant was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful, 20 minute walk into Westport town but quite hilly!! Good location, right beside Westport House.
Two flights of stairs to apartments and poor ventilation we couldn't open windows, no view at all from our apartment.

It was such a chilled atmosphere there but at the same time a constant flow of people in and out of the Bar/Restaraunt. Nothing was a problem to the staff, they were very busy but never too busy to look after you. Would highly recommend staying and eating there..

The staff were lovely, very helpful and extremely polite and efficient! As I arrived before the rest of the group Kevin kindly helped me carry my bags up to the apt! The apts were very clean and comfortable and the view out onto the Quay was gorgeous! The location was great - Westport House entrance just down the road, shops around the corner all very convenient!
The ovens did not seem to work in either of the apt we had booked.
Very friendly staff, made us feel very welcome and looked after us very well. The food was excellent in their restaurant, lovely location, excellent facilities and very clean. Could not fault the Helm on anything and would certainly recommend the apartments to everybody.
The Helm apartments were in a great location and close to Croagh Patrick. Taxi fare into the town was very reasonable, and it was close enough to walk into the town also. The apartments were very well fitted out. Breakfast was lovely, staff were very friendly and efficient, meals in the Helm pub/restaurant highly recommended, and also nightly entertainment was very good.. Will recommend it to work colleages and friends, and would definately stay there again. Thank you
there was nothing i didnt like, just a small comment, maybe have a mirror in the double bed room.
We were four friends traveling together and what was booked as a two bedroom apartment turned out to be a three bedroom. With the 3 rooms plus kitchen with comfy sofa, we all had our own room after a long while sharing. Walking out one morning we interupted the delivery of the day's catch of Brill and John Dory, had to come to dinner for that! Hosted a dinner for 7 in the restaurant: dinners, drinks, desserts, the lot and was very impressed at the reasonable price for it all. The rooms were wonderful and the staff couldn't be nicer. There was a lovely surprise for us upon our arrival and I won't spoil it by revealing what it was but it was a real and unexpected treat.
It's a little further out of town than I was able to tell by looking at the map but you can walk through the Westport House estate to get to town, which is lovely.

The welcome we received was outstanding and the irish breakfast was well presented with fresh bread. The accommodation was clean and quite spacious for the price that was paid. The Helms bar was family friendly and food delicious. We will definitely come back again.
The shower heads were faulty and kettle did not work but they were are only complaints.
Has a washing machine, as were were travelling arund Ireland for 15 days we were able to refresh some of our already worn cloths. Good Breakfast
We stayed in appartment 7 in the block opposite the Helm. The appartment was not very clean even to tile edges where you were supposed to put your toothbrushes was thick of dust and dirt. Beds were uncomfortable but to be fair we were only there 2 nights so bearable.
Location good and the restaurant/ bar was good.
Apartment was noisy and shower in ensuite we could not work. Expensive for what we got.

westport is a great town i go here regularly!
in the advertisement it shows the stone building it is not a pic of the actual apartments , there is 2 steep staircases going up to them, music was punding till after 1 am so didn't suit with a young family! went down for breakfast on good Friday only to find the place pulled apart for clean up they brought the breakfast up which was fine paid 285 euro for 2 nights felt completely ripped off ! didn't meet anyone in charge to complain poor customercare!
