Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Tea and coffee is available all day. And the breakfast is something else. There is secure car parking. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre, the RDS, the O2 and the Bord Gais Theatre. The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks. The room was lovely and had a nice bathroom with a good shower - fabulous breakfast, very good quality food.ease of access to the car park, no messing with tickets, validation, charges etc.

Make reserva - I loved the fact that we were outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough only 10 mins on the Dart which there were very frequent. The atmosphere of the area and the townhouse itself helped us to completely relax.

Excellant and helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable. They even had new glossy magazines to read which was brilliant. Lovely warm atmosphere in hotel. Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a mixture of a small buffet as well as a la carte meals and was excellent. Staff were very friendly and provided some excellent restaurant recommndations. The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.

The bed has to have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It really was great. Staff were very pleasant. Location was also brilliant. Most of all, though, I got a last-minute deal which was really good value. Oh yes, one other thing - there was a lovely little ceramic teapot in the room, a lovely change from having a tea-bag in a cup and I appreciated this very much!
