Lovely friendly staff who greeted us each time and were really helpful and chatty. It had a family feel which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and a full cooked breakfast was included in the room rate, not just a continental. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was also a very clean laundromat over the road which was handy and the hotel was at the top of the main street so we walked to fantastic shops and restaurants a few minutes down the road. There was also parking out.
wszystkie opinie » Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel. Rooms were comortable, clean, quiet. Staff was consistently helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond what we expected. Location at the top of Main St. in Kenmare was ideal for our activities which included a family reunion. Loved the pub and its music right in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, dining room was sunny and immaculate. Parking was convenient. After a long day driving around the Ring of Kerry, the Landsdowne Arms was such a delight to see! The staff was amazing and we loved the very clean pub on the main floor, replete with fantastic local Irish music in the evening. Kenmare is a delightful town, and this hotel was perfectly situated. Everything was wonderful!. Lovely hotel with character and with friendly staff. Very convenient location between rings of Kerry and Beara and perfect for the small town. They even found us covered parking for the motorbike ! Ate at a superb sea food restaurant just over the road. Already decided we will stay again on a return visit. The staff here is great! This a well run establishment. We were there on a Saturday night and when the pubs emptied there was a lot of noise coming from the street. However, this is not the hotels fault but maybe next time I'd ask for a room that isn't on the street side of the hotel. Internet in lobby area only. a little on the costly side for accommodation. Bathroom was in serious need of updating , the fans from other bathrooms were loud enough to wake me up. lack of reading material in drawing room. Not applicable. Minor issue with street noise but not the hotels fault. Absolutely no complaints. Little old and needs to be spruced up beds lumpy. There were a lot of ants all over the bedroom. My partner woke to find them crawling all over him while in bed, thus resulting in several bites on his legs. On the morning of checkout we made the situation known to staff and we were given a €40 voucher which was unacceptable as we had paid €170 for the room. Very unhappy and will not be returning to the hotel.
