It was a bit diffucult to find the hotel as the entrance is a little hidden and the sign for the hotel is coverd by some other advertisements. But inside there is a little paradise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor with access to the garden and close to the pool. The pool is not very big but enough for a cool down swim. Unfortunatelly there is not much shadow around the pool. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Location is very good also for walkin.
wszystkie opinie » The hotel is well situated on the Monkey forest road, close to the centre, but far enough from the street to be very quiet. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Spacious rooms all with a balcony overlook surrounding fields and local houses. Bedrooms are well appointed (good beds, adequate bathroom, efficient airco, etc.). Bed sheets were changed every day. Breakfast which comes with several options is generous. Very nice and small friendly hotel with very good location on Monkey Forest Road. Excellent service from the staff especially regarding our trips and the boat we booked to Gili. We even got a very early breakfast on our last day before our early pick up. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The gave good recommendations about what to do in Ubud and in Bali, eating out, massage places, etc. My room was spotless everyday thanks to the cleaning staff and the pool was lovely. The hotel ie really nice and peaceful.very good location on the main road. The staff is very nice and frienfly. The rooms are big and with a good view,we stayed on the second floor. Good free wi-fi. The hotel was certainly in a central and convenient location, within walking distance of the market,monkey forest, spas and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. Due to the small size of the hotel you should preorder your breakfast the day before but the quality is very good so it is ok. Nothing. The beds were a little squeaky and I didn't realise that there was a 3% visa charge until I went to check out. We ask for a pick-up from the airport,but didnt came. Ubud has unfortunately become very busy, particularly with day trippers, the traffic is horrendous!! It is no longer the peaceful and quiet retreat it once was....visit if you have not been before but for us it has lost that special appeal and we will not return!!. Entrance is hard to find because it is very narrow(it is in front of Ashitaba). The view from room is not very nice because sorrowndings are another hotel and empty land. I felt it is a bit expensive comparing with facilities. Breakfast needed ordering day before & was modest; wifi doesnt extend all the way down to furthest rooms (best at reception). Foot paths in Ubud are very treacherous...had to watch every step. could be improved. Towels very old and rough, no hand towels provided. Toiletries were not replenished, only provided on day 1 No autolock on the doors. Shared "manual" key. A/C smelled a little dusty. Bad smell in the morning from the bathroom drain. All was good. very difficult to locate hotel. please make your hotel sign VERY BIG. Only 1 tv channel worked. We stayed for 5 nights and they were not able to fix it up. Poor breakfast. No chance to take another fresh juice or bread. Breakfast was very disappointing. No buffet and small portions. Swimmingpool was not very inviting. The cleaness is very bad, and the maintenance of the rooms are awful. The aircon window is plenty of mould and the courtains have some dark spots over them. The shower is not good as well, the hot water waves between hot and cold. In my opinion, is very expensive for the value. i booked for the second floor (more expensive than first floor), but upon checking in they gave me the first floor, after some arguments they offer me to charge Rp 100.000 less. is not about the money but they ruined my vacation.
