According to my Indonesian friend, this hotel is one of the oldest luxurious hotel in the city. I could see that from old but durable good quality materials the hotel uses and the space they can afford in the busiest business center of the city. In the city, which is not really designed for pedestrians, the space that the hotel can offer for outside walking/running truck is also a true luxury.
wszystkie opinie » The location of the hotel was very good. It was close and connected to the Jakarta Convention Centre, where the conference was held. Housekeeping do a great job, the whole hotel is spotless. Spacious room, all facilities in good working order. Front desk staff. Very professional and helpful. Friendly, helpful staffs & the location. Although furniture is a little dated, the room is fairly well maintained and comfortable. Makes for a good business hotel due to it's location in the city. Very reasonably priced. Free wifi with reasonably good speed. No problems getting taxis from the hotel, and staff were helpful in explaining to the taxi drivers where I wanted to go.,. --Hotel is having enough place and not crowed ----concierge is very friendly and helpful. Location - it was great. Room size was great for the price. 1. nice atmosphere 2. friendly people. It's integrated walking facility to the convention center. location, good wifi signal in the room, good taxi service. Location at the heart of Jakarta. Nice garden, many tennis courts. The lagoon and the green park. The view and big bath room. greenery. The oldest means its requirement to keep up the facility in today's luxury standard while maintaining the heritage.. A relatively long wait at check-in. However, it was understandable that the hotel staff were very busy with so many guests checking-in at the same time. - Check-in too slow due to only 2 staff trying to handle both check-out and reception. - Fitness centre wouldn't give me a small towel because "You are not on an Executive Floor". They wanted to charge me Rp50,000 for it! Go figure... breakfast no good enough for a 5 star hotel. Very limited choice. The same foods being served everyday. Overall the hotel could use some renovation or upgrading of facilities. --Slow service ---Room was booked for two persons but inside room all items of toiletry, coffee, tea sachet and cup/glass were for one person -- many mosquitios in room and toilet. Changed room --still same problem. Putting incectides and the spray came after two-three hours --- since we booked room thro your website and may be they give you hefty commission so the duty manager of hotel was less interested to listen our feedback for mosquitios. The maintenance. The hotel needs serious maintenance. The paint peeled in one of the wall. One light in the bathroom constantly flickered. Irritating. TV AND placed too low and it's a CRT. 1. sheets were worn out & torn 2. bathroom need some cleaning as there were moldy not acceptable for 5 star standard 3. Kudus bar was closed and still stated on the hotel info in the room - at state closed. No nearby shopping or tourist destination for first time visitors. breakfast was poor and bad, no hot water in the room, very old furniture, TV was a size of iPad, all services incl restaurant are expensive. The room was in poor condition. The lift is old and guests have to wait many minutes to get into the lift which only 2 available for hundreds of guests. Not clean, broken electric plug behind TV. Maintenance of the room verypoor: toilet flush not working properly, hot water machine for making coffee not working, carpet very old. The food not good and when i checked out for 5 days they give difrrent rate for each day they say idepend on dollar rate i thout i am in wall street not hotel even booking never mention the changing of the price. 1-very old furniture 2-sewage odor at garden tower entrance strong and seems permenant 3-minimum one hour for room service delivery, even for plane cold yogurt 4-hotel is badly deteriorating and most parts of it are closed I stayed in garden tower.
