Great rooms & facilities. The breakfast is superb. The buffet dinner in 'The Kitchen' is awesome. The bbq in the courtyard in the evenings at the courtyard are exceptional value at 750 Rs. There's a free shuttle service between the hotel and the St Mary's Road Raintree if you use the bar/restaurant there and you can use the smaller gym & swimming pool there free of charge too!. Design, very gentle and friendly staff, modern hotel and very comfortable. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The top roof restaurant with its city view is really super. The Club room with access to executive lounge in 9th floor during happy hour and free internet and free airport transport is really top.

The Sunday brunch at 'High' attracts the local rich brats which ruins the occasion for families;using the swimming pool is impossible for wives and daughters without leering drunken local boys(who also threw up the alcohol filled contents of their stomachs into the sink of the lobby level gent's rest room). The free transit back to the airport was mosquito infested and the driver dropped us off at the wrong terminal. Too much mosquitos in the reception lounge. The hotel has to resolve this problem to keep its 5 stars position. 1. The food was good, but must change it in daily basis. ( common food daily ). Cant think of anything I did not like. An excellent hotel. Keep it up. Not easy to access due to road construction ( not responsibility of the hotel) Beds are too soft and weak. Better towels to match with 5 star hotel will help. Wi-Fi was only free for 2 hours. To much off mosquito at reception lounge. The bathroom at the disabled room could have a shower curtain so other parts of the bathroom does not get wet. Currently Chennai is going through a major works, METRO, which takes extra 15 to 20 minutes to get to the hotel if coming from the wrong direction. Food is over priced. Due to Metro construction, Taking a walk out of hotel is difficult. But the hotel is great value for money. Didnt like the fact that the hotel room is not equipped for older persons. The designer chairs were most unsiuitable for use by us . The hotel could not provide a more suitable chair from any other room . Every other hotel does provide a sturdy comfortable chair on request . nothing. Some group bookings for training at the nearby hospital led to a crowd in the lifts and breakfast time. Bar very loud. highly priced, very business like, friendly staff but very rigid on rules probably the front desk staff have no authority, poor quality water, shampoo and towels. small rooms, the bed with castor wheels kept moving, no bath tub. The room facilities was bad whereby the power goes off most of the time. We asked for discount due to the power failure but was rejected by the hotel management. The hotel cooling is too much. It was so cold that we both fell sick.
