Our apartment was perfect with lounge, self catering facilities, separate bedroom and modern bathroom. ..all cleaned every day.Our balcony overlooked the beautiful garden, pool and surrounding hillsides. Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

  The hotel was a little walk to the town centre which may not be to everyone's liking, however, we found it fine. Staff were very nice and there was a wedding in progress when we were there. There was an outside swimming pool which was none to clean but then again we were there out of season and many places were closing down. The pool is great for kids (and adults) but has no really shallow section for toddlers. Breakfast was ok. Rooms (we stayed in quadruple and triples) are big and airy and easily accomodate extra beds.
