The hotel is run by a very friendly and helpful family; with a very well organised and happy staff. The hotel is in a very central position on the island making it great for touring the many sights. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The apartments are right on the beach and very close to Katelios so we enjoyed a romantic walk along the beach to enjoy dinner at one of the lovely tavernas in town. We were extremely impressed with the welcome, everything explained and advise given to where to visit or eat. This hotel offers the little extras that make you feel someone has put some thought into making sure guest are comfortable. for example. a bottle of the hotel home produced wine, elegant and clean rooms with kitchenette. Anna Pension is beautifully located above Liapades beach with a perfectly beautiful view on the bay. We spent hours on the terrace, enjoying the view and playing with the cats which belong to Anna Pension (but are not allowed inside the apartment). We stayed at the maisonette which is very nice decorated, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower has a bathtub and the bed is huge and very comfy. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away.

Most enjoyable stay in Zante was at Litsas Studios. Very friendly and accommodating helpful staff clean rooms and well presented grounds, very clean pool and sunbeds well looked after. Beach is only 1km shops near by everything in the room worked, no problems.

I love everything about Villa Sofia. We had come to accept that Greek Island self catering appartments are very basic. Villa Sofia proves that it isn't true. Superbly appointed appartments, AC, TV, hair dryer, free WiFi. Very clean. A fantastic view from our balcony over the sea and mountains. Might be a little quiet for some as it is on the outskirts of the village, but it is only a 2 minute walk to the centre of everything.

An excellent family run hotel. All the staff are very helpful and really do make an effort. It's clean, tidy, safe and generally very pleasant. We had a big comfortable bed. They have a good bar and good food. It's in a great location, just a very short walk to beach and restaurants/ bars. If you want to stay in Kalamaki then you won't go wrong booking in at the Venus Hotel.
