Great location, close to the touristy center but in a very quiet area, also close to the area with cafes, restaurants, bars and small artsy shops. Comfortable beds, on our request down comforters and pillows that we were allergic to were changed for synthetic hypoalergenic ones. Wonderful, comfortable and beautiful bathroom. Free fast internet.

This is a great place to stay in Dresden. We were there for the Christmas markets and the hotel's location was ideal. Our room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. A few tips if you stay here:

What a great hotel. This hotel is superb in every way. The hotel lobby is big bright and modern and sets the tone for ones stay . The location is very good in the newly refurbished part of Dresden old town. The room was a delight, large high ceilings, modern contemporary design and a funky bathroom. The dining area was large, well designed and the breakfast was very good. I will stay there again if I return to Dresden. Staff were very professional.

A characterful beautifully renovated hotel on a quiet cobbled street in the Baroque Quarter of Dresden. Just 10 minutes walk over the Elbe to the historic city centre. The breakfast is a fine dining experience with table linen, porcelain and attentive service.
Not a place for glitzy bars and full facilities, although these are available at the sister Bülow Palais a short walk away.

We spent 8 days at Villa Barbara apartment and we liked a lot. The apartment is spacious, clean and well furnished. It locates very close to a tram and bus station, that connects us to the whole city.
For our surprise, the owner is Brazilian and she has received us very well and gave us several tips about the city.
I recommend Villa Barbara to families, groups of friends etc.
