we were looking for a place to read, write, sleep, eat and walk all at our own pace, and uninterrupted, for a few days. And this place was really good for that. The facilities were so comfortable, with 2 balconies, one overlooking the river. The food and hospitality were just right. If we'd wanted to bicycle, this would have been an easy, lovely place to do that, too. We were made to feel at home at once and shown to a lovely room with Balcony. The marble hall & stairs are so elegant and the swimming pool is beautifully kept. It's a great location too.
