Our stay at the Hotel De Gantes was amazing Marc the proprietor was so friendly and helpful advising us where to go and what to see showed us what the suites were like we have to go back just to stay in one ! Room was beautiful and the location ideal everything was within walking distance this is definitely the place to stay in aix en Provence we will be returning again and again. The room was excellent, comfortable and best of all soundproof which is essential in an hotel positioned in the Cours Mirabeau. However it was the staff who seemed to anticipate our every need that stands out for us. Well done as this is rare and should be congratulated.

The way they have restored this hotel is really first class!. location of hotel, service,well appointed room, efficient,friendly and helpful Manager (Mark) and staff member Guillaume. Assisted my husband for two hours to correct a problem with our computer. Very expensive The parking costs 25 EURO and we paid 250 euro for a night. Together it adds to quite a sum ! We had problems connecting to the internet. Great location. The room is very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff is great and very, very, helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel. Sugar and milk not replenished. Very expensive Parking 25 euro. The fact that is suurounded by pedestrian streets and we had to park 5 minutes' walk away (not usualy a problem, but we had to carry everything that distance). Also, do not try the restaurant on the ground floor - it looks great and has an impressive history, but was a big disappointment. Dull hotel..no facilities.Very difficult to find.
