Tallin Hotele

After a long trip , what a pleasure to arrive in the St. Barbara! , friendly staff clean comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. Situated slightly out of the main drag but only a short 5 minute walk away. For the price I was very impressed . - Kieth

We stayed here as two couples, paying 122 euros per night for the whole place. The apartment was perfect, it was clean, well eqipped and featured lots of little extras which we do not expect when self catering such as dressing gowns, disposable slippers and toiletries. The apartment had a fireplace (which needs opening before use) and uses attractive wallpaper, antiques and real wood floors to create a stylish and classic design. Let me begin by saying that I am in no way connected with this Hotel. I have stayed in Hotels in Cairo, Prague, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels. But the Domina Inn beats them all hands down. It is clean, the staff are super friendly and the design of the hotel - the decorations, fancy art work is amazing. If you visit Tallinn, you must stay at this Hotel. My advice is to opt for the Superior Rooms. Here you have a cooker, sofa, nice bathroom and the bedroom is up a flight of stairs - almost l - Mr

Hotel is well located for a short walk in to Tallinn old town. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was spacious and clean. Cafe Mademoiselle was lovely. Ok hotel. - Lisa

i would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to tallinn,the hotel was just a 2 minutes walk into the old town where there are restaurants serving excellent food. The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable the breakfast was really good with both hot and cold food served.The staff are very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble. i would also like to thank karoline the manager who arranged a tour for us into the country to see stately homes and the small fishing villages with the house - Martin

Can't believe this hotel is not number one in Tallinn - it was fabulous! We were offered an upgrade to an executive room on arrival and at only £15 per night we did (original sty sooo cheap anyway..). The room was fabulous, ultra modern with an enormous picture window with awesome views, great coffee maker, in room free movies, surround sound in the bathroom, robes, slippers the lot! Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the hotel 4 nights out of five as it was amazing quality and very reasonable - Ravi

This hotel is about a five minute cab ride from the port and a five minute walk to old town. The room was a little crowded and small. The breakfast was very good as was the customer service. If you afford to stay at the Swiss Hotel -right next door- then do so. - Andrew

We stayed in the Domina City for three nights, arriving off the boat from Helsinki before 12 o'clock, we were given a room right away. That was very welcome, as my mother needed to lie down a bit. Tallinn is no city that thinks of the elderly, there are lots of high steps and no handrails. But the Domina City Hotel was alright, my mother felt safe there. The room on the fifth floor was spacious, the bathroom up to standard. Breakfast was served in the basement, the buffet had an adeqate choice. - Martha

I got really friendly and welcoming service in my native language, Finnish. The "supersaver" room felt a bit small but was of great quality and good comfort. The only thing I did not like that much was that I had to keep the water running for almost 5 minutes until I got warm water in the shower. The pools and saunas were nice. Awesome breakfast concerning the price. - John

I live in Tallinn but stayed in the hotel after a night out. It was convenient for us as it has free parking garage, it's close to old town and next to a new spa and in this spa there is a very good and cheap Asian buffet. L'Ermitage itself is very cute, looks lovely but basic. A minus is the noise if you leave a window open in the room facing the street. - Barbara

I experienced a fantastic stay in this hotel which combines in an admirable way the necessities of a good location (really strategic), peacefulness, functionality, elegance and best ratio quality/price. I warmly suggest it to who intends to spend a romantic and relaxing holiday in Tallinn. - Geoff

I can't say too much about this hotel, particularly regarding the service they provided. The receptionist I originally contacted when I made reservations went to a lot of trouble to answer my questions before we arrived: this included information about buses from St. Petersburg to Tallinn, purchasing ferry tickets to Helsinki, and suggesting a local car rental agency.
