Splendid value, friendly family owners, good useful location: if you don't like the walk up the stairs and alleyways from Dubrovnik Old Town the #3 bus drops you off virtually at the head of the few stairs down to the apartment.
Good WiFi.
We liked the friendliness and warmth of the place. It had a really
homely feel! The owner, although not speaking English, was really lovely
and kind! The room was large and comfortable. We were very pleased and
felt at home!. wszystkie opinie »
Parking for free (even though limited and a bit tight). Nice owner (elderly lady), everything we needed was in the room - toilet, shower, A/C, balcony with sea view.
Pleasant hospitality, excellent room, recommended for young couples or for families... :D.
Friendly and helpful hostess. Were able to grill (braai in Afrikaans).
The staff was very kind. You can enjoy a wonderfull view of the city.
Great room with a brilliant view.
Very friendly hosts, didn't speak much english but made us pancakes when we first arrived.
The kindly owner and the view from the balcony. Good value to the price.
Friendly hostess and it was cheap.
the view was excellent.
Leaking bidet feed, but not an insurmountable issue.
We requested airport transfer but when we arrived at the airport no
one was there to pick us up. A lovely tour guide lady phoned the agent
who sent a cab for us. We thought it was part of the deal but we had
to pay 35 euros for the transfer. We obviously wouldn't mind
paying but the booking agency should have informed us it was an extra
cost. If you're driving there you'll struggle to find it as
there is no signage on the roads, however we'd recommend it as we
loved staying there.
It's a bit far from the city (it might be because of the extensive recontruction of the roads at the time of our visit). And of course uphill (as everything in Croatia :-) which was not a problem for us, bit might be for some. Also parking was a bit problematic and not directly seen from the property.
Everything was fine.
Very difficult to find. No signage on main road indicating perking or
road. Tvarska is actually not a road that you can drive with a car but
it is only "steps" down from the top road. Again, no signage!
Luckily the owner of another guest house phoned our guest house and the
owner came to fetch us.
Quite old fashioned and the room was in need of a good dusting.
Bathroom a bit cramped. But for one night it was adequate.
Our room was a dimly lit room with no facilities. No fridge, kettle television or view. My wife said she thought it was like a cave.
not the cleanest and limited facilities wouldn't recommend it It was like living in someone's spare bedroom which it was having said that a lot of these places seem to be like that.
Much too expensive for a more or less cellar room without any view but a lot of personal objects (Kitsch) in the room. There must be one other room with sea view, with what the private house promote its place, but the risk is very high to be put in an ugly room with no view for 32 €.
