Bell service was great ! He assisted us to pack our frozen smoked salmon voluntary with extra bagg for protection. We were told by front desk lady that Wi-Fi was out of order temporary . But it was out until our departure time next day. They should offer business centre at least we can send some emergency mails. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, bell person was very nice and courteous !. The property itself is very nice, with excellent decor and comfortable furniture, especially the bed, which makes for an excellent sleep. The location relative to the airport terminals is ideal - no shuttle transfer to/from the airport is an excellent "plus" for me.

We arrived very early in the morning and it was so nice to just collect our luggage and continue through the airport to the elevator to the Lobby. No travelling or wondering where to go. It was excellent in all aspects. Convenience of it being right at the airport for our next day flight to Australia so we were using it as a night stopover before long flight home. We were in the Fairmount Gold level 14 and our room & breakfast facilities were superb. well-trained friendly staff; concierge service of Gold floor was excellent; very comfortable bedding; cleanliness; lounge area with continental breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres; room doorbell; room safe; all room amenities!. The staff were professional but friendly. The location was perfect for me as I had an early morning flight out of YVR The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. As always, a great view of the runway, mountains and ocean. Comfortable room with large bathroom and surprise! A decent refractor telescope on a tripod. Very big rooms, kids loved the doors between the bathtub and the bedroom! We were flying out at 630am so it was nice to be able to stay so close!. Bedroom was beautiful and the view a wow! Style of the hotel was lovely and we particularly liked the glass fireplaces. everything....location...location...location...I will never stay anywhere else travelling to or from YVR. Efficient,courteous and friendly staff, excellent facilities (at least on the Gold floor). Top notch. Convenien location to the airport. Extremely friendly staff. Genuine desire to help the guests. They had what we needed for location and extra bed ready for our little guy. Location. You go downstairs and you are at the airline check in counters. How great it was to fall into a fantastic bed directly off the flight. the location, the view, the restaurant, the room and the staff. Super comfortable bed!!! Excellent shower and great service!!. Customer service during the check-in and check-out processes was chaotic and disorganized and poorly handled. I furthermore had asked for my invoice to be emailed to me, and it never arrived. Overall I was happy with the property, but not the staff, who seem to be poorly trained and disinterested in providing good customer service. I sure wish they'd clean the windows. It was honestly hard to see out of them. Something else...when you pay $350 for a room, and they have a gourmet capsule coffee maker, why put thimble sized, tasteless 'non-dairy' whiteners in the fridge?. Nothing negative at all!. Everything was very expensive and not to have free wifi at that price was very poor. ...too short A stay... A bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. We got there late and left early for a flight. We wished we had more time to enjoy the bath and view! The price was a bit high for the convenient proximity to our flights, but I appreciated it nevertheless. I will not stay at fairmont again. We travel the world and this is the most expensive and worth it but they nickle and dime you by charging for wifi. Stated in 10 hotels on this trip and two charged, both fairmonts and both more than double any other hotel Bad corporate idea. nothing. Bathroom sink plug leaked -necessary to refill twice during shave. Tv didn't work, bellhop couldn't make it work, 20 minutes later person from engineering finally got it to work. No free WiFi - this is the 21 century! in the past year we have have stayed in 5 star hotels in 4 cities in China, 2 in Cambodia, 2 in Viet Nam,1 in New York, and 9 rural B & B's in New Zealand. All had free WiFi!. - reading light on headboard did not work - Light between beds - the on/off switch which turned to make the light work - was jammed - cost is high. small pool. Very pricey for an overnight stay. The spa was open but not staffed. The spa receptionist was lazy. The restaurant was nice but over priced. Front desk staff.
