The hotel is located on a tree-lined street in Gloria. The hotel is close to metro stop and taxi stand. This was my second stay at the quaint, cozy hotel. The neighborhood is energetic with a nice art cafe across from hotel and there are shops, markets, and pharmacy in the immediate area. The manager and staff are wonderful. All are eager to assist guests. The price and location are unmatched in Rio. wszystkie opinie »
Most of the staff at the reception speaks quite fluently English and are helpful. The hotel is simple but offer a good enough breakfast. The rooms have a good quality wifi and paid tv. The bathroom was renovatated and is modern, clean, have a good shower. The location of the Hotel is very convinient, close to the city and public transport.
The hotel is charming and located on a beautiful, tree-lined street. The staff was exceptional! All members of desk staff were warm, friendly professionals. The provided detailed guidance and suggestions on tourist info and all spoke wonderful English.
The location is really convenient, just a few minutes walk from metro station Gloria. The staff was friendly and communicative. WiFi was just excellent. Acceptable breakfast variety that allows you to eat and go to the city.
the staff went out of their way to help us in every way they could. it was quiet and the breakfast was more than adequate.
The English speaking staffs. The location. Near metro station Gloria. Neighbourhood ok.
Good breakfest.
Hotel staffs speak English and very friendly and provided good help.
Very good breakfast every morning.
Location is very good, close to the beach, the metro, the bus stop and the staff.
I enjoyed enourmously the neighborhood.
Cleaness and courtesy.
Location is good and it has a minimum set of conditions, except in the
toilet (see "didn't like field") Internet is fast and
better than in many more expensive hotels, when it works (see my
didn't like comments) Good fridge, tv is as good as in many more
expensive rooms. Air conditioning worked well.
Breakfast.
You have to pay your stay in advance when you do the check-in. Unfortunately, most of the hotels in Rio does this aberration.
The customer service in Rio is the worse in Brazil!.
No complaints.
To be honest except one incident during one night. One couple was arguing (but not very loud) in the middle of the night in the next room and I could precisely hear everything. They woke my up so the rooms are not very noise resistive. However I assume that not often do you find arguing couples in hotels in Rio. Usually you can hear sounds of other emotions... ;).
the bathrooms could have been a little bit bigger!.
Bathroom a bit small, but sufficient.
sometimes there was kind of rotten smell from somewhere.
didn't have garage and the smallest bathroom.
Cafe da manha (breakfast) can be improved very easily.
Pillows and few TV channels options.
Poor choice in breakfast and very noisy. Toilet is too small and badly
designed (I stayed in two different rooms). The basin is very small and
in a corner. Every time you wash your face in the basin water gets out
and wets the ground and the toilet paper. When internet fails it can
stay out for 5 days. It happened twice during my long stay. The price is
fair for Rio, but for significant less money you get much better outside
Rio and in Europe.
They charged my card .. denied it .. I had to pay again .. and am now
waiting for my refund. Didnt like the underground rooms.. No windows.
the hotel is awful, the rooms have got no windows;the safes in the rooms are not attached to the walls and do not work properly;you won't sleep at night because of the many low class guests allegedly using drugs and staying awake the enitre nights; the staff is rude and extremely aggressive if you tell them the truth and even abusive.
