next door to elevator entry at KingsCross station. Close to great
breakfast cafes of Elizabeth Bay , Paddington. Overall staying in this
neighbourhood is a colourful suburban / urban experience. An escape
from the city centre, but only 1 or 2 train stops @ $3.60 from downtown.

The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. They were really accommodating and efficient, couldn't fault the service at all. The guy on reception when we arrived was particularly helpful and pleasant. Also really handy for the train station and during the day there were some pretty cool little cafes around.

Location in the Rocks is ideal for spending time in downtown Sydney. Quiet location with a parking bonus. B&B provided on the street parking for a very reasonable fee. Parking in Sydney is hard to find, The B&B has made arrangements for convenient parking right in front of the B&B. -

It was just a 2 minute walk from the train stop that runs all the way from the airport in just 20 minutes. Very easy to access.
Friendly staff. Very clean. We had a room with shared bathroom and it was very clean and big + for the Molton Brown schampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms :)

I love the feel of it - just like grandma's
house. I first went to this motel when the children were at boarding school. They loved it too and everyone was so friendly. Parking and a buffet breakfast is also good and a wine in one of the lounges downstairs is a great end to shopping in Queen street. You can tell I'm from the bush. -

We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels. I liked the warm friendly greeting on arrival which continued throughout my stay. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Being invited to help myself to tea & coffee in the main area at anytime even though there were facilities in the room. I felt welcome. It was lime being "Home away from home".

Unusual style for a hotel, but once settled in just so friendly, all staff and other guests greet each other so easily. Sitting in the sun outside our room reading the papers was a lovely experience. This hotel is so beautiful. It is a short taxi or bus ride from Manly and just really peaceful. The rooms are gorgeous. We had an amazing view of Sydney. The staff were so lovely, offered us a lift to the station the next day. We ate at the restaurant, also great. Amazing history to the place, like staying at a museum.

I was pleasantly surprised to find during a last minute booking that the
hotel was offering a deal on a twin room with 2 double beds - this was
impossible to find in other hotels of the same calibre in north sydney,
and anywhere within the same price bracket. The late checkout of 12 noon

and I was impressed at their flexibility and accommodating manner, both
online and in person. Fabulous!!! -
My room was spacious, modern, with all the necessary facilities. A bonus
was the balcony with an outdoor setting. The staff were friendly and
helpful. I used a wheelchair at times and many of the staff asked if I
needed assistance which I found very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to
stay again and recommend to others.
