The friendly service, the design of the room, the sight over darling harbor, the services available in room, laundry service was perfect, breakfast was amazing because of the variety of food that was available (asian, european, hot/cold), certainly not the cheapest hotel in town but worthwhile every cent. We stayed in the adore suite which was amazing. Loved the spa bath which was massive. Bed was very comfy. The room itself was also massive with a separate living area which had a massive TV as did the bedroom and loved the fact you could control everything by the remote if you wanted to.Staff were great.

We loved staying at the Darling. The hotel was beautiful, the staff most accommodating and the location excellent. I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay in Sydney. Cleanliness and friendly staff. The staff were very helpful when requiring information about the area and what activities were on. The bedding and pillows were superb. The whole room was so luxurious. Truly worth every single cent spent. They allowed us for early check-in as we requested.The location is really close to darling harbour. We were upgraded to a suite. Jason on the front desk was very professional. We loved the location. The staff are the most friendly and professional I have ever come across. The pool was not heated There was no one serving at the bar area at the pool There is no bath in your room Some of the prices of the items in the room I felt were quite expensive Did not like the fact that if I tried to put a bottle of water in the fridge by taking something out I would be charged on my credit card. The only thing i didn't like was the fact that if you removed something from the bar fridge or display of goods, that you automatically got charged for them after 30 seconds. I understand about people using and replacing, but feel that is a bit extreme, and even when they have on the boxes "you know you want too"!..The pricing of the goods expensive too. very expensive internet access spa not open on Mondays. My only suggestion would be to have someone familiarize incoming guests with everything in the room. It took us tw days to get comfortable with the lighting, etc. We didn't like the extremely soft pillows. the room is not suitable for families with children. no free internet access. The room we had did not have a bath and we were under the impression It did, we also believed we had paid for the room on letsbookhotel.com however when we got there we found out we had not yet paid. Nothing. bad coffee, not much of amenity. Expensive. N/A. leaving. Not enough bright lighting especially in the bathroom when trying to apply makeup!!!!. the view was poor, we expected a better view. Aircon didn't work. Room service disgusting. Staff are useless.
