The B&B is quaint and it resembles the period that is was built perfectly. Even though it is an old building the renovations done to include ensuites are very tasteful and do not detract from the interior. It is centrally located betwween the 3 sisters and Katoomba town and both are an easy walk. If you looking for a place to stay with several couples you could not go past Kurrara. It is a delight to visit. wszystkie opinie »
Staff exceptionally welcoming and personable towards all guests. The rooms were really clean, comfortable and homey. There was a huge range of DVDs to watch. The breakfast was vast and delicious. Complimentary port in each room to enjoy! Free wifi. Real warm, homely feeling. The two delightful family dogs that live outside, wonderful! It was located between the Three Sisters and Katoomba town, easily walkable.
This historic guest house was excellent it was a very relaxing and a very comfortable stay. The whole house is full of warmth and charm. The owners and staff were there on hand if needed but otherwise they left you alone. They were also on the mark with advising the best places to eat in town. We loved our stay and would not hesitate in recommending Kurrara Historic Guest House to anyone.
It is the extras that make this place so lovely, from the port and biscuits to the charming atmosphere.
We had a fantastic night and OT chatting to another couple and the owner. It is conveniently located in Katoomba and we plan to visit again to see how the restorations are coming along next time we are back in Sydney.
The Guesthouse is on a quiet area, and is within walking distance to Echo Paint and the main area of Katoomba. The guesthouse itself has a nice charm, with hints of modern (TV, wifi). With the inclusion of the complimentary continental breakfast for every morning of the stay, it makes our stay here more affordable.
Very beautiful place to stay and a little quirky. New owner are really doing a great job. Sunny verandah was great for breakfast. Very close to all the attractions around Katoomba - most in walking distance. Staff were very helpful and responsive. Beds very comfy and the good coffee was always available.
Loved the decor and the helpful staff. Really enjoyed the generous
breakfast and the availability of all kinds of drinks and nibbles for
the evening. Would love to know the recipe for the chocolate coated home-
made 'bickies' left on the sideboard each evening.Yum!.
The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. The cookies and cakes provided during tea time was a nice touch. Free Wi-Fi was good considering there's nothing to do after 5pm. They do have a wide selection of dvd that you can borrow to watch in your room.
The quality and history of the building the dedication, time and effort being put in by the owners to protect the building for the future and to to give visitors very comfortable accommodation with an historic feel. Excellent continental breakfast.
The interior was just beautiful and the service on top. The breakfast really good and you could walk both to the town center, The Three Sisters and the near by gallery not to mention the Blue Mountains Cultural Center .

Romantic yesteryear weekend getaway. Very clean, warm and comfortable. Very friendly and professional staff. Nothing was too much to ask for.
Very obliging, friendly ethos. Room snug but comfortable. Excellent continental style breakfast. Free Wi-Fi. Homely with historic interest.
By far the best bed and breakfast I stayed in during my first month touring Australia - in fact beats all the hotels I have stayed in, too.
Really friendly owner very helpful and made us feel welcome. Beautiful old house lovingly looked after and treasured by the owners.
The historic house, the hospitable owners, the fantastic breakfast and the feeling ofbeing in a home away from homw.

nice staff
clean & comfortable guesthouse.
Lovely comfortable bed
Character of the house.
Friendly service and comfortable facilities.
The whole retro atmosphere of the property.
Location, friendly staff, old world charm.
The lounge room could be larger.
Nothing.
We had a few issues with the windows, as there were strong winds during the night, but this does not affect our stay.
Having to leave and come home.
Needed another cupboard in the bathroom to put toilet bags etc on.
Would've like to have been asked if we needed any clean towels or
linen for our three day stay.
The location is a bit far from the town and train station. It's still walkable but just a tad far considering its not on the main Lurline Street. The heating in the room goes off after a while and comes back on but with the thick duvet, it's warm enough.
Nothing!.
The breakfast was lovely but a hot breakfast would be better.
Room was somewhat cold in the afternoon and too warm in the morning while the rest of the house was at comfortable temperature throughout the day.
There was nothing to dislike about the place.
A bit of squeaky floorboards adds to the age of the house.
No dislikes.
Walls are a bit thinish - easy to hear conversations from adjoining rooms
Bed, while King sized, had many dips and swales.
Could have done with a wardrobe as we stayed 6 nights.
Nothing.
The wifi worked in my room on a sporadic basis, and only when close to the door.
Bedrooms a little small and no wardrobe or hanging space for clothes.
The hot flask inside our room. ( need to change a new one) they just took over the house and thus I guess this is an oversight. They did great in making over the house to bring it back to the period of that time.
No closet for storing our cloths in the room.
nothing really but i was a little sad that there was a blackout and we didn't stay to have our breakfast but i do understand that it isn't the fault of the staff it was just a act of nature.
Ebery thing were fine.
Nothing.
Poor lighting.
Would have liked a flyscreen on the window. It was a hot night and we were reluctant to open it and let the bugs in.
shower no good wardrobe not good.
The walls are paper thin so we could hear conversation in the lounge from the honeysuckle room.want a different room next time!.
none.
Room was a bit small.
Room got very cold in one night.
Little bit small room.
Nothing.
Little bit messy and cluttered with stuff piled up on outdoor verandas.
Hallway a little dark.
Nothing.
Rooms are not well sound insulated from the other rooms.
