The room was gigantic and really quiet (just ask the room with windows faced to courtyard). Really nice equipped kitchen and just minute from the Salamanca place. Definitely would recommend it for anyone visiting during The Taste or other festival on the wharf. This was the second time we have stayed at the Mantra One Sandy Bay Road. When I was booking accommodation, I didn't need to look any where else in Hobart. I find everything is just perfect for us. The location is brilliant.
wszystkie opinie » I didn't realise how close we were to everything,a 2 minute walk and we were at the wonderful Salamanca markets and restaurants, Battery Point just a walk away, and the dock area a walk away, we would definitely go back there!. The staff were friendly and helpful.The apartments were very comfortable. Hobart is a lovely compact city. If you have a car make sure you pre book parking, as it is difficult to park for any time near the apartments. Location was perfect. The apartment was well set up for our short stay. Umbrellas available when it rained. Any service we asked for was responded to with professionalism. Nice magazines available free. Spacious apartment with kitchen, large comfortable bed. Friendly reception, complimentary daily paper, 2 TVs. Great location, easy walk to waterfront, shops, cinema, restaurants. On site parking,. Great Location. 5 minute walk to Salamanca Markets and Marina. great price. did not need to pay a deposit-paid on departure. lots of space for price and modern apartment.very impressed. We chose Mantra one Sandy Bay Road because of its close proximity to the Salamnca Markets. Great location close to Salamanca Place and the city centre facilities were good value. Close to everything easy to find and the park right across road to go relax. Location, car parking, friendly reception, view over park and bay, quiet. 42" tv dishwasher washing machine/dryer all appliances were current. The rooms were comfortable very handy for the market and city shops. Location - very central to where we needed to be for the weekend. Parking was a little bit confusing — don't forget to book it in advance (which we didn't manage properly). And Wi-Fi signal was very low. Nothing. Enjoyed it all. The parking. Can't think of anything. DVD player didn't work. Room needs a bit of colour. TV in front of the bed wasn't hooked up to anything. couldn't use it. no fan in bathroom. Wifi was extra and was expensive. Apartment 303 has a foul smell of drains in the bathroom and also the tank in the kitchen cupboard drips, which is very annoying especially through the night!. very dark around the front door at night - quite offputting also hard to find the front door at night on arrival!. The only complaint I have were about the TV's, they definately need to update. I was in room 211. They were the 90's big heavy tv's, and the bedroom one only had a couple of channels......I Did let the reception know that was my only complaint. poor signage outside for nighttime arrival poor lighting at front door - kind of like standing in a dark alley. King bed made up of 2 singles joined together by a rather uncomfortable zip... no frying pan in kitchen to cook food. Lounge was not particularly comfortable; could do with a few cushions to provide back support. Decor a little drab; cold colouring and lighting average. Our bed room was located adjacent to the lift which was old and very noisy during travel and particularly when the doors opened and closed. Very limited parking, had to pay for parking in a nearby street. no free wifi. we did not realise the unit would be over 3 levels. No opening windows no room servicing. Pillows and bed very uncomfortable bed very hard and needs shelve in shower for shampoo and soaps. No cook- top. Tight on items such as dishwashing powder for machine, toilet paper etc. I know the apartments were self catering but still expected not to have go shopping for those items when staying a few nights. windows too high to view out of. only one toilet downstairs in 2 bedroom unit , the one toilet was beside our bed. not a real king bed (2 singles with a hump in the middle) carpark tight for larger cars. I didn,t like reception only being open for a few hours on the weekend and closing at night.The day we left we had nowhere to leave our cases as our flight was at 6 PM. The configuration of the apartment. The bed was right inside the front door. It was advertised as a one bedroom apt but there was no door to the bedroom. There was no window near the bed either & so it was very dark at the bedroom end. i booked a carpark space in advance, but i was told it was full when i arrived, but the staff helped me to deal with it immediately. Would have liked it if we could open a window.....even a little bit to get some fresh air. Lift had quite a hiccup, twice. Jolted to a stop mid floor. Thankfully it carried on it's merry way. The bed in 209 was two single beds together with a ridge in the middle, a bit uncomfortable. The Dooa had no cover on it, just a sheet on top and below which kept coming off. We would have liked a hot plate to boil our pasta on. Asked for room at back to avoid road noise but didn't get that or explanation!. having booked an executive suite we expected that there would be a view rather than a large brick wall. The advertising is misleading and there is no direction to include special requirements such as a view! Staff did move us after a couple of nights but it was disappointing to travel all the way from UK for a view of a wall. The bedroom was a bit dark with a view of a wall. had to wait 24hrs for a new kettle, no cooktop, not even a proper oven just a convection microwave, very odd for a weeks stay would have been good to be bale to cook a meal. hate washer driers. Busy roads out the front. I needed to conduct an interview and there was no room I could book for the purpose so I had to pay to use my room for another 24 hours even though I left at 6pm. I was disappointed there there was no discount. Could not open window. Entrance and lift not up to standard of apartment. Parking an issue. No real criticisms at all. all good. Room clean every day would have been nice. Reception staff argued with me over the proposed levy for using a credit card. $0.01 was charged to my credit card on arrival but not subtracted from the departure total Outdated room manual which compromised our ability to watch Foxtel. The maintenance require a bit more attention. For example light bulb completely missing in the light stand lounge room. Also kitchen cupboard support arm disconnected room 504. Room very dark, only 1 window and some of the lights didn't work. No window in bedroom. Room was dark made worse by fact that blind would not go up.
