The staff are lovely and call you by name, it feels like a sunshiney, friendly home on the hill. Breakfast was good, the usual bread but with delicious dulce de leche or jams. Clean, convenient and great value for money, its only a 5min walk from the centre of town.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly; breakfast very nice; room was very clean and the lady was cleaning it every day also making the beds which is not usual thing in the hostels.

We stayed at Hosteria Robles Sur for 3 nights mid October 2013. The
accomodations were very nice with clean linens and amiable service. El
Calafate this time of year was very cold and windy but the nice surprise
at Robles Sur was that the floors seemed heated, even in the bathroom!
So nice to wake in the morning with warm floor and a hot shower.

The location and scenery from your room is breathtaking. The rooms are big and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious but the biggest standout for me was the two owners. Two people so passionate about looking after their guests. They were soo helpful and lovely. They gave us great advice on tours, booked it for us even lent us some hiking boots!! They were so selfless they even suggested we go to El Chelten which although meant we didnt stay more nights with them, meant we got to
