This was my Mothers Day present from my daughter from Reno,NV,there was a little mix up,because she booked the room on line,we had driven to Phoenix for a ball game,at 7a.m then drove to Tucson,we where very tired,and hungry! a gentleman ,which name we didn't get ,came out of an office,and fixed the problem,we are very grateful,and very glad he was there!,again thank you very much,and the Continental Breakfast was excellent,we have stayed in many places because we go to many appointment at the .
alle vurderinger » Our room was absolutely charming with the desert scene embossed tin headboards, to the colorfully tiled sink and bathroom, to the wonderful patio view overlooking the pool and garden area. We also enjoyed the family of quail running around the pool in the morning, the cozy feel to the lobby, and the breakfast buffet at Miguels. I was pleasantly suprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and the decor of the entire facility. The grounds were beautifully kept, the pool was clean and nice, the rooms were clean and decorated nice. I appreciated having a patio with the room as it allowed me to set out and enjoy the evening and look at the city lights. It was quiet and comfortable. A fabulous place to return to after a busy day out and about. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Particularly Javier who made sure we had directions to the places we wanted to visit. I have nothing negative to say about it--all positive!. We really liked the decor altho some areas could use updating i.e. shower stall and new showerhead (energy efficient, water conserving). Beds were comfortable, loved the balcony which was built with privacy, wonderful views. Didn't use pool but was inviting. The view from the balcony and the restaurant was beautiful. The restaurant was convenient, and the breakfast was excellent. I chose La Posada because it was convenient to my family and their hospital. This was neither business or vacation. I've stayed at La Posada Inn now on several occasions. It's a very nice place with friendly staff, and it's grounds are well kept. For the price it's a great deal for excellent accommodations. It's close to a lot of hiking also. Every morning there is a buffet style breakfast in the next door restaurant. The location is okay but not great. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is quaint and I could see it for a romantic getaway. Relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful view from the pool area and courtyard.The room was clean and quiet. The complimentry breakfast was excellent. For value it was the best we have found in the Tucson area. Beautiful, resort-like quality at a budget price. The grounds were exceptional and the facility was spotless. Miguel's restaurant was also very good. The guacamole was the best!. Location, Location. I have two brothers who live in Tucson, within short driving distance. All in all, we found the rooms comfortable, quiet and resteraunt was also fine. The Breakfast was well done, and there was ample seating for everyone. The grounds were very nice. Our room was on the courtyard side which made it very pleasant. We had one of the stand alone units (king bed, own entrance and courtyard). It was lovely and quiet, away from the main road and very comfortable. Everything was sooo good! Very friendly stuff! Beautiful room, very clean and big. Wonderful view. Definitely will stay there next year. I liked that is not a big chain and that it has a traditional authentic south western feel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We liked the southwestern feel of the lodge. The staff was very helpful. Loved the view of the golf course and the mountains. Nice location, nice landscape, mountain view, polite staff, elegant restaurant room, good breakfast. The rooms were excellent, staff was superb and the view and convenience for our hiking was fabulous. We loved the Mexican design and furnishings, even though they seemed a bit worn, and the pool area. The setting is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant for dinner excelent. It was a little noisy but to be expected since it was a holiday weekend with lots of families/children. Didn't bother us. Nice to have breakfast available but could use a little variety (same for three mornings); good value. The connecting door to the next room needs soundproofing. I could hear loud talking, TV, even sneezing. Nothing. Had some problems with the electronic keys--turns out our fault for keeping them in a wallet with credit cards. Suggest you inform guests the credit cards can make the keys unworkable. The queen bed was really a double bed or a very small "queen". Although we had booked what was described as a king bed unit with its own entrance and coutyard there was an attempt to put us in an ordinary motel unit. When we pointed this out the hotel staff member finally agreed to give us the stand alone unit. Bathroom counter space was a bit limited, but functional. fitness room was small and equipment wasn't very good. tv didn't work in fitness room. My room was next to the ice and the vending machine; both make loud noise routinely through out the night. Nothing!. The bathroom was much too small. No counter space on which to put cosmetics, etc. the room was very hot and stuffy. Rooms starting to show their age. Walls and doors need to be cleaned and or painted. need a full length mirror in room, out of regular coffee in room on 2nd and 3rd day...I am on east coast time and wake early...had to wait 2 hours to get a second cup of coffee! restaurant didn't allow room charges... they could improve the workout room - very stuffy, hot, and small. They need to work on the TV reception. The square pillows are extremely thick and hard. Outdated -- especially the Bathroom & TV. Small room. A bit dated. nothing. Tile floors when it was cool outside. No rugs. Having to leave!. rooms need updating. The carpet was stained and appeared dirty. Oracle Hwy is a very un-charming, busy road. The hotel is a bit worn. Breakfast, while providing hot/cold options and is plentiful, it's your standard American chain-hotel offering, so after a few days, you may want to go out for breakfast. The wireless Internet router could not be picked in the room. I had to reach in the tank to flush the toilet. TV channels were minimal compared to other hot alas. everyone in our group agreed shower water was not warm -- barely better than cool........... TV picture quality was BAD and channel selection number was poor......curtain over refrigeration was inoperable. We had problems in our room with water leak, non working lamps. No maid service for the three days that I stayed there. Fitness equipment broken or malfunctioning. Also the fitness center had filthy carpet and the TV did not work. Bed frames very noisy. The carpet was filthy in the room. AC didn't cool bathroom, so when I stepped out of the shower I was already sweating. Furniture was old and chair was grossly stained. The air conditioners were not cool enough took some time to cool down the room. 1-The night stand lamp did not work. Receptionest was powerless. 2- Dangerous power plugs.Had difficulty in powering my C-Pop machine for breathing. 3-People downstairs woke us up at 2am. Had to threaten them to call Tucson police. 4-Sliding glass door, drapes must be condemned.The entry door is bad. Bathroom ventilation is terrible. 5- This hotel must be knocked down. 6-My respect level to letsbookhotel.com dropped down since they reported this hotel with high ranking.
