Everything! I was blown away with the beauty of the lobby! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

I like the location on Shutter Island with the feeling to come back "home" at night after a day spent around in San Diego.
Incredible remote view of San Diego downtown.
Very spacious room overlooking the marina, which is definitely better than the ones on the bay as there is the parking in between the hotel and the sea.
A lot of very good restaurants nearby in Point Loma: no need to travel far away from the hotel.

The room we were given was 301 which is on the corner of the building so we got two windows to see the beach! We had booked an ocean view room and the view from our balcony was of Scripps park, a cave, the beach and all the silly sea lions and pelicans. The location couldn't have been better; I liked that they had a
ready supply of fresh coffee in the lobby and that they had bathrooms on
a couple of floors so we didn't have to go all the way back to the
room if we were already out; the balcony and view were all they promised
and the beds were comfortable and clean. They held our bags for us
before and after check out and that is big plus for us. We had a
wonderful time and will definitely stay there again soon and probably
for years to come.

The front desk help was excellent. I also loved the cleanliness of the room and the view was simply gorgeous. When I told the front desk that my wife was having surgery the next day at Scrips Hospital she changed our third floor room to ground floor very near the entrance, very nice. We had room service and the food was excellent and way too much.

The beds were very comfortable, the proximity to Torrey pines couldn't have been better (the complimentary shuttle to the golf course was also a plus) the bell desk at anytime was excellent

Outstanding location - Hotel Circle - allowed for easy commute to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Airport, and more. We were able to go to the sites, then come back to the room for lunch and swimming and return to the sites for the evening - a great way to break things up for the kids.

I was pleasantly suprised by our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, and had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly andf helpful. It was definately a value for the price. I would recommend other people to stay at this hotel and I would absolutely stay there again.

Even though it is not in the center of San Diego, it is easy to get attractions because of the proximity to highways.
Our room was facing highway but we didn't have any difficulty in sleeping. It is not noisy at all. There is not much to explore in the area but if you just need a sleep to sleep and you are out whole day, then it is a perfect place.

It was conviniently located in downtown, not too far from the main attractions that we went to see in S.D. Great price for the area. Very Clean. Continental breakfast which was included daily was ok. - Convenient location, staff very accomodating, room very spacious and clean.

We had a one night stopover and chose this hotel as it was close to the airport. As I habitually have a cup of tea on arrival at any hotel, I really appreciated the all day tea/coffee /hot chocolate provided free of charge in the lobby. Very clean and well maintained room and hotel grounds. Loved free WiFi
and Internet access. Loved free parking, free bicycle loaners, two
pools/saunas. Playground across the street. Lots of markets, coffee

Great location for sea world visit.
There was a problem at our initial check in which wasn't good. However I have to say that the manageress stepped in and resolved the matter with a real customer focus in trying to ensure we had a good stay. For me this is when a hotels reputation stands or falls in how they go about resolving problems. Staff were a credit to the company and I would def recommend to others

Location overlooking marina, embarcadero park is steps away for a nice place to walk . Short walk to gaslamp district for great restaurants. Pool, outdoor bar and lounging area is beautiful. We loved our stay. Bell staff and concierge staff very friendly and helpful -

The location was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. I we recommend this hotel to others. This will be the only hotel that we stay at when we go back to San Diego.

The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -
