I really liked everything. It is such a cosy place to stay. Everything what a person may be in need of in one's travel is available. Wifi, beverages, all facilities work excellently. Location is wonderful, too.
I think that without the stuff such high standards would not have been achieved.
The price is acceptable for a common person and traveller.
If it were any better, I could not stand it.
I work as a university professor, and I will recommend it to my students. alle vurderinger »
Very close to subway. Excellent location. Bars and Pubs with restaurants of all kinds just at walking distance.Good Showers and clean restrooms. Very helpful and friendly service. Free WIFI. Ideal for backpackers.
Clean, great location (central Manhattan), close to taxis and metro. Hot
water. Maids clearly used lots of bleach/cleaner every day on
bathrooms and the towels/linens were clean.
I stayed twice in four days and have already submitted a review.
A reminder - great location, close to Greenwich Village and the city tourist area of Times Square.
all around decent hostel, single rooms are all u need. It's easy to get to and has a decent nightlife.
1. Hotel location
2. Staff interaction and assistance.
3. Environment.
i like the environment and your staff friendliness to visitors.
Comfortable, calm and good location near trains stations.
Cheap and great location.
Location was GREAT !.
It was clen.
location.
Budget friendly, I came for a college open house and could not afford
anywhere else. It's right in the middle of everything, I took the
subway ever where. Staff is wonderful. Especially, the fine one with
glass. If you can stay on a friends couch most definitely make it your
friends choose, but otherwise this gets the job done.
I appreciate having a co-ed place like this for travelers. Most others in this price range are men only. (The WiFi never, ever works.) I have had several acceptable stays here but the last one was a disaster and I deserve a complete refund.
Location is really good, subway is close, a bunch of cafes and restaurants near by, Broadway is in 2 blocks. Staff is helpful, there is a locker for the bags that they allow you to use before and after check-in.
The facilities are very pore but it is safe, and clean. One cannot expect comfort for this price. Anyway staying on that location for this price is an absolute value for money.
Price is hot
Very small room but good enough if you anyway explore the whole day the city.
A place to sleep but nothing else
Next subway is just 5 min walk.
This place is less than basic. But staying in the heart of Manhattan at this price? It's just perfect for those with low budget.
It was close to everything I wanted to do.easy access to the bus.My first time in that kind of place. Was not bad.
good neighbor hood. the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when asking how to navigate the city.
Great location, especially for those interested in seeing art around the
Chelsea area.
It's a youth hostel, and a people from the hostel are very nice and kind.
Great value for money
Excellent location close to the subway.
Very good location, near the subway, good staff.
Friendly staff. Rooms were clean good location.
Cheap. Much better than staying home.
Great location, friendly staff.
Location and staff are good:)).
own private room. cheap price.
The neighborhood is awesome.
The price and it was clean.
The location and price.
Nice staff, location.
Staffs are kind:)).
It was very cheap.
Value for Money.
location, price.
Good location. It was cheap, relatively clean, safe, well lit room and halls.
The room did not have walls to ceiling, lights left on in hall all night.
Bed was squeaky and could feel springs.
It was like a prison cell in simplicity and a good 8 hour experience to see how 80 thousand U.S prisoner exist in solitary confinement.
Close to subway stations. Close to restaurants, cafes, and bars.
Easy to meet people.
Good option if you are travelling alone and looking for cheap accommodation: DO NOT GO there with your boyfriend/girlfriend (no intimacy) or with your family.
The girl at the reception, when I brang pillow with bed bugs, she decided to give back all the money I've just paid, but that was her duty.
Nothing, just you have a chance to meet with some backpackers!! Hopefully we stayed only a night !.
I Like the others travelers verry Nice and the location of the hostel so the living room is fun.
The only good thing about this hostel is its location. It was located in
lower Manhattan.
cockroaches in the bathroom, crazy old man next door grunting and farting all day long.
The price was right. And it was near my destination - in walking distance.
Like the good price. Don't mix it up with bowery hotel across the street.
A lot of restaraunts and cafe not so far from hostel.
Staff was friendly.
Cheapest of twenty places I've stayed in Manhattan
Pretty good location.
Location is good for partying - close to many bars and night clubs.
I triied to think about it.But I can't find anything what I didn't like.
No Parking facility.
Wireless was listed as a feature. It was "broken" but for-pay
options were available. Some people were noisy at 2am so I was glad I
had ear plugs. Lights on in neighboring "stalls"/rooms
bled into your room (no ceiling). Extra "tip" was added at
the end when paying my bill ($10) that wasn't mentioned in the
original charges.
Before I went backpacking I was under the impression that you could stay
in hostels for £5-10 per night: not so. I found this to be very
expensive at $45 on a Thursday, and then $50 on a Sunday. No electrical
points in the rooms (although you can leave items for recharging at
reception).
bring earplugs because people snore which is no big deal.
1. Bed Structure.
2. Non availability of sufficient heater in the rooms.
3. Non availability of A\C or power sockets in the rooms.
4. None cleaning of the rooms occupied by guest.
There should be electric plug in each room.
They didn't have my reservation, but found me a room.
It would of bee nice to fresh cut flowers on the tables to add some flare !.
The bedrooms are too small.
staff are very bad.
I'm just not use to sharing a shower, and the over all look.
I'm kind of a neat freak and anti-germ, so the over all look
freaked me out a little.
I got bedbugs and didn't return the 2nd night. On day 3, I returned and my belongings had been thrown out with no apologies, even though I had already booked and paid for the
room. I was refused any compensation and treated rudely.
Don't be expecting a room, it is more like a closet, but ok for just a night crash. Also all the facilities and showers/toilets could be a bit cleaner. Though I am not a big hostel fan, so not much to compare with.
Internet was down on my stay.
The sharing toilets and shower was on the lower level of comfort, but still on a usable level.
There was no outlet for computer There is a socket devices that they can buy. And rent it or give it to the customer. And it would be good if they had women, men & couple floors.
beds are really bad. i wanted a double bed and got two twin matresses. sleeping arrangements very uncomfortable.
When arriving, we waited 25 min just to be greeted. Although the staff
member was friendly, it was obvious he was stressed out with the
facility. Housekeeping didn't show up so there weren't enough
clean rooms to accommodate the reservations for people staying that
evening. We stayed in the triple room, realizing quickly that the only
outlet available was outside of our room in a hallway.
Small rooms, but for this money it's okay.
Very poor staff knowledge and friendliness
Room size like a jail cell 6" by 4"
50mb wifi free additional charged
Have to leave all electronics at reception for charging.
Very small rooms, no ability to charge anything in room, wery noisy and cold.
small rooms.
Visible bugs, extremely small rooms, no electrical socket in the room, credit card multiple balance reservations. Clean linens sometimes hard to get (+do it yourself).
limited wifi, very small rooms.
Room is very small--'.
first staff member didn't give me a map of the city. The bed wasn't comfortable.
The hotel is somewhat dirty and there is a lot of bed bugs in the rooms.
I felt the quiet hour rules need to be made more clear and consequences
if they are not held. There was an extremely noisy rude couple that had
a full loud conversation at 4am. They dragged their boots when they
walked incessantly up and down the hallways and kept knocking their keys
against the door. They woke the whole floor up. I didn't stay the
2nd night of my booking, I took the loss.
Nothing specific, just one warning to have a good idea of the place
before booking it and no expectations from the staff. No room service or
change of linens/towels whatsoever.
There are very little rooms, there are no ability to charge anything in
the room...
Had so much rooms.and not comfortable for woman!!.
There were no outlets in the room, so it was difficult to keep our phones charged.
Comfort Level.
the room is more like a cell.
Really small rooms.
Too expensive for the size of the "room". Bathroom was small and very old. No outlets in the room.
bed bugs - many of them in our room, on a cover of bed, pillows, walls. So many, that I cathed 5 and brang in a plastic bag to the reception, took also few more in a pillow... I did not want to search more... disguesting!!!.
it is not clean, the rooms only have beds and nothing more if you can call them rooms. Tiny rooms with no rooftop next to each other so you can not even talk !! Bad toilets and showers which weren't so clean. They must put some realistic photos of the hotel as well !.
It is verry verry ruined !! We heard all from the street it is horrible the room are so little just the place of a bed !! I see a cockroach in the laundry !! The principal good thing si the situation and the price so it is you Who see what you want !.
This is by far the worst hostel I have ever been. There was no electric
charging point in the room, so we had to come downstairs just for
charging our laptop/mobile. Also, even though they say they provide
free WiFi, only 50 mb per day was free. (Which is nothing).
The place was really very small and clumsy.
It would make more sense to call this a rooming house than a hotel. Each room consists of four walls and no ceiling with nothing inside but a bed. The worst part was no heat and only a thin blanket. I had to sleep in my winter coat and toque.
The interior or exterior isn't taken care of. Looks like it's falling apart. Need at least some painting. Small rooms. Don't have fear for being in a typical prison cell. You have no wiggle room in your cell. Ok for onlyone night, but not more.
Showers doesn't work normaly,
no plugs in rooms,
no wifi in rooms.
Tiniest cubicle I've ever seen
Decrepit facility.
I got bitten by bedbugs. Walls do not reach the ceiling so you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbours are doing. The room size is ridiculously small. Rooms located in the middle of the building are really hot because AC is placed only on the outside walls.
