We had a very spacious one bedroom apartment and it was fabulous! We were able to enjoy coffee and libations in our room if we wanted to. The facility was very clean and decor was very nice. The staff, especially in the valet area, were very helpful. We made it clear up front that we were not interested in the time share options and so were not bothered with any pressure. We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

was in New Orleans for a major festival and all the other major hotels

This was the most beautiful Hotel. The service was above excellent. The staff were so friendly and catered to your every need and the breakfast is out of this world. If it was a ship it would be just like the titanic. Would definetly recommend. Conviently located to everything. Cant say enough wonderful things about it. Me and my husband loved it!!

This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it
