AIR Venice on the Beach - Bilder
Hva folk sier
AIR Venice is located just adjacent to the beach at a spot almost directly in between Santa Monica and Venice Beach piers. It makes a good home base from which to explore the area by foot or by bike, and only a short walk from some of the best restaurant on Main Street in Santa Monica. Moreover, it's a very private hotel nobody to bother you, no room service, just a code to access the building and a time by which you have to leave. If you need to leave your stuff there for the day, just stop. alle vurderinger »
The location cannot be beaten, it was a great way to round off our month
trip in the States. We had an oceanview room which I would recommend,
plus it has a kitchen (no toaster though would would have been nice).
There were plenty of places to eat either on the boardwalk itself or 2
blocks down to Main St where you can also get buses that connect you to
others to get you to the rest of la. Alyssa was really helpful and
responsive and allowed us to store our bags plus arranged a laundry card
for.
I loved my stay here, as someone travelling on their own I wanted to feel safe and after having people warn me off venice I'm glad I didn't listen, this place was great. The location is perfect and the room itself is just what I needed, it was clean, modern, open and let in heaps of natural light. There are plenty of restaurants near by and you'll meet some wonderful people, You'll smell weed coming from outside and inside occasionally but that didn't bother me in the slightest. I'd definitely.
Air Venice is beautifully located in front of the beach; in the beginning of Venice Broadwalk. Therefore, you have the best location (between Venice and Santa Monica) but it's not in the middle of the crazyness of the broadwalk. Love the kitchen facilities even though I did not cook and Rene, the property manager upgrade my room. BTW, this is not hotel but it is more like renting a studio apartment. Therefore, no room service, no reception or housekeeping. It's perfect facilities for me and.
Right on Venice Beach, lovely location and even though our room was away from the beach we had a great view.
Easy check in & check out process, we were just emailed the codes needed to access the hotel, room & Wifi.
Having some cooking facilities in the hotel was great, its not a lot but enough to cook some basic meals.
Location is great, you can walk (20mins) or bus to Santa Monica Pier plus some great restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.
location, room amenities, lots of fully-opening windows on top floor! Check-in/out without needing to actually visit a desk (although we got in late and luckily someone was coming out of the building to let us in because the instructions on how to use the key code pad were slightly different between the emailed instructions, the instructions on the door and the instructions in the room - eventually we figured it out).
It is in a good location. It is right on the boardwalk. My vacation rental had a great view of the beach and boardwalk. The ocean view apartment had a modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, and a flat screen t.v.
I did not watch t.v. The weather is nice in Los Angeles
and there is so much to do -
art, culture, beaches, and shopping. Rene is an awesome manager at Air Venice He was very helpful and friendly.
Excellent location. Amazing view from our flat. We enjoyed a lot to have
the freedom of having a kitchen n making our bkfast and feeling at home.
Parking was close and available. Rene, the manager, came to meet us on
arrival, what we thought was really considerate. We recommend it for
sure and will tell our friends to stay there. I hope we have the
opportunity to go again.
View of the beach
Location right on the beach
It was a studio unit not a hotel room.
Close to restaurants/ cafes
Safe and secure
Great for independent travellers
Entry Instructions were delivered by email well before start of stay with all details correct and easy to understand.
I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay at Venice Beach.
Staff were friendly and also: Location, location, location! Right on the boardwalk and beach. 2.5 km from Santa Monica Pier. Starbucks, restaurants, and small grocery/liquor stores in easy walking distance. Room had all cooking equipment needed. Only recommendation would be a small broom or similar to minimize spread of sand in the apartment.
Perfect location at the beach, very nice apartment. Rather close to Santa Monica (30 minutes walk to the pier).
We faced some problems with the refrigerator which was solved right away after we spoke to the lady at the reception.
The second floor of this building was once rented by Charlie Chaplin we were told.
Great location with a spectacular view from the ocean view apartment windows. (three of them)The Air Venice is directly on Venice Blvd allowing you to visit both Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey both within walking distance.
very comfortable studio with all ameneties available.
The view was incredible! I think I got lucky and had the top floor front
facing room...I Walked in and thought there must have been a mistake.
Location was fabulous, right in the heart of Venice Beach with plenty of
restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed and great sized room.
Loved the location, right on Venice Beach and the view from the room was incredible. The studio itself was great - self contained and all the amenities you needed. Check in/out process was easy and it was such a nice change from all the hotels we'd stayed in previously.
The staff are extremely helpful, in particular Rene. An absolute joy to deal with. There is a laundry room on site (ask for card at reception), you can then load money onto your card and use the laundry. Close to shops, bus service and fantastic views..
our stay at AIR Venice was magical... The penthouse apartment was blessed with incredible views to the Santa Monica Pier and beyond. The studio apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable... A stylish and fresh approach to holiday accommodation...
Cool Hotel, very sunny, great beach view, perfect equipped kitchen, location perfect for different trips, nice and working showers, friendly staff, got an extra bed for our youngest child. our teenagers loved it. We would love to come back one day! Natalie.
The room was bright, clean, modern and decorated simply. The location was great for beach and fun. The ocean was steps away, and restaurants and bars very near; and despite their proximity, my ocean-facing room was quiet at night.
Great bed and blanket, spacious and bright room, it is situated at the Venice beach but still at the side so it's much cleaner in that area and there are not so many vagabonds, it is like to enjoy Venice from a safe corner.
In all my years travelling, this place had the best views ever. We stayed in the sixth floor, apartment 60, with 5 windows to Venice and Santa Monica Beach. Amazing location! The apartment was clean and comfortable.
Great apartment with a view right on the beach and ocean, great kitchen with everything, amenities within the room were excellent.location amazing and people in the area gives the true Venice feeling.
The shower was great, everything clean. The wide open windows in the
hall. The sunrise light creeps into the room and turns the walls pink
and orange, Paul and Alyssa were very friendly and charming.
Location is the best. Near to all the charm of Venice Beach, but far
enough to escape when you get ready. Rooms are neat and clean. Food is
super close, shopping is close, the sand is steps away.
Great location, on Rose Ave at Ocean Front walk. Good restaurants near by, and the ocean's steps away. The studio apt. was clean and comfortable, the kitchen makes it ideal for an extended stay.
It was right between Santa Monica and Venice beach. Oceanfront with many activities so close by. Secure building with access codes. Loved watching the people coming and going at the bay windows.
I liked everything...my room was clean with a great view of the
beach...I Had no trouble parking...overall I got a smoking deal for the
quality of this hotel which is good.
Great location, close to Venice boardwalk and Santa Monica Pier. Also a short drive to most of the big LA attractions. Also provides secure parking. Free wifi.
Super value and awesome view of beach and boardwalk. If you want to experience Venice Beach area and don't want a chain hotel you will love it!.
Paul was great helping us leading up to arrival, and all went smoothly during our stay. Room 28, great view! Great location for visiting LA!.
Great location, nice furnished appartment (everything IKEA). On the beach you can rent byciles, which is very nice along the beach.
Location was perfect between Venice and Santa Monica beach. We had a nice room with nice views of the boulevard and the beach.
Perfect location, in Venice but not in the bad part, but close enough to the action. Great views of the promenade and beach.
The location and the view of the beach and ocean. The studio apt. had everything I needed. Thanks for having me.
The design of the room. The floors were gorgeous! Amazing view! Very conveiniently placed by many restaurants!.
excellent location. Right on Venice Beach, great room with kitchen and fridge. Great value for the money.
Conveniently located on the boardwalk with no hassle of checking in or out coupled with an ocean view.
right on the boardwalk of Venice Beach, but in a quieter part of it, allowing for a good night sleep.
great location and room was nice.
The hotel staff made check in easy and were helpful on parking.
location, view from our apartment, Renee hotel manager, spacious room with kitchen, laundry area.
Great views of the beach and the rooms are airy and clean. You can also arrange a late check in.
Self checkin all worked well and there was someone there to deal with queries when I needed it.
The location, the design of the building. Only a $10 Cab ride to Santa
Monica Shops and clubs.
Right at the beach, well-stocked with dishes & utensils, good use of space for a studio.
It was absolutely in the perfect location right between Muscle Beach and Santa Monica Pier.
Fantastic location and views out to venice beach, very comfy beds and modern amenities.
Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, great security, would definitely return.
We stayed on the first floor room with the view over looking the sea ..... Amazing.
Excellent location, easy check in and out, great price for the location, safe.
-Location
-keyless entry
-keyless entry
-nice room with large windows.
Location, helpful staff, light, airy, clean and very comfortabble.
An iron, an ironing board and a few hangers in the closet would be great!.
The room didnt smell very good unfortunately and was made worse when
using the extractor fan. It was clear that alot of weed had been smoked
in the bathroom and permeated the fan. In fact the whole place smelt of
weed but we didnt really care overall when you remember where you are
;). It was as noisy in the early mornings as others said with street
cleaners and homeless etc but you get over it once you see the view and
the colourful life of Venice Beach.
The one thing I didn't like was the elevator it made some interesting sounds occasionally, I mainly used the stairs when I didn't have my luggage.
Nothing ! Absoletely awesome !.
People across the road and next to our hotel were a bit noisy on Friday & Saturday night - not a big issue though, settled down by about midnight.
Wifi broke for about two days, staff were not always there at the desk.
Bed was too firm and pillows were too squishy - typical of many hotels!.
There was nothing that I did not
like. The only thing that I did
not like is having to go home.
I loved staying near the beach.
Lift was very slow.
Noisy upstairs neighbors!! I had requested 'the quietest room possible please' and we were placed on 2nd floor. Occupants right above us on 3rd floor arrived after midnight nightly and began banging around at 5:30 or 6:00 am in the morning. The lack of sleep definitely detracted from my stay.
The public transportation in LA is a disaster. Takes a lot of time to go downtown or to Hollywood. Renting a scooter or motor would be the best option.
The internet was down for most of my stay which was disappointing
because I was working and really needed it - they were however making
an effort to repair this. There is not really a reception, although on
weekdays there was someone at the front desk and they were able to
help with my taxi booking etc. a handful of tea bags/coffee in the
room would be great. The facilities are there and there was not really
a small store nearby so after a long day travelling this would have
been nice.
Nothing! :).
The only thing I didn't like... was having to leave!.
No parking provided. The best safe & dependable overnight parking was blocks away.
Just to say something: it is an aparthotel, so the facilities and staff are very limited. You share the building with some other permanent residents (typical Venice people).
The area is very nice during the day, it gets a bit shady during the night, but still felt safe walking around.
We self checked in late at night, so we used the email and followed the instruction.I recommend to put the entrance codes closer to each other so it's more immediate when reading the email.
Lack of night time parking. I was here working late and had to walk 4
blocks at one o'clock in the morning. That would be my only
complaint.
Roberta.
Parking is an issue. Beach front during the day is about $15.00 each
day. Night parking is a hassle....lots are another $20 for the
night....street parking is unpredictable.....Could cost close to $100
for a three night stay.
You're on your own when it comes to parking, but they warned me about that.
If we had stayed more than 3 nights, would have liked a broom for the sand from the beach. no air conditioning so we mentioned to person we saw doing laundry a fan would be nice for air flow and they got us one. little activities going on at the ale house next door, but after that. super quiet and sleeping with the windows open was great!.
Secure parking is 2 blocks from hotel, bit of a dark walk home if returning late at night.
Would have been nice to have a balcony, but otherwise everything was great!.
They send you an email with codes. However, this email is placed in your unwanted emails. So you have to check every inbox, and as a foreign traveler...you need to have internet.
They don't have a 24h-reception.
No own free parking place. Luckily we found a free parking spot in the neighbourhood, but that wasn't easy.
Parking is very difficult to find, or expensive in paid lots nearby.
Nothing.
On the shower curtain in room 38, there's mold growing. There's no ice maker which is fine, but I wish there were ice trays.
Parking was expensive and not available by the hotel.
Bed was not very comfortable.
no telephone.
Maybe the office could be open for longer.
My room was not well lit at night, I had to turn on the the bathroom
light and kitchen light to light my room. I think a lamp is necessary.
My room # and code had been given to someone else, but luckily for me I was there before that person. No airconditioning, could use a microwave, window panes didn't block out a lot of the late night noise from the bar on my side of the building, walls and ceiling must have been thin because I could easily hear the neighbour's TV on one side of me and the upstairs neighbours walking around.
There is no free parking available for the building and it is hard to find parking! Parking lots are expensive.
A bit of noise between rooms and on the street below but wouldn't deter me in staying here again!.
Personally for what we were after it was perfect- no complaints.
Nothing.
Parking is impossible to find within a many block radius.
-no wifi code provided
-room smelled like marijuana
-no iron, hair dryer.
Late night noise, as ground floor near the action that went all hours.
