  I was in town with my wife and in-laws for a uf football game and this was a great hotel. We walked to the game (about 1.5 miles to the stadium) and back with no problems. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby that are walk-able and the edge of the uf campus is less than a mile away. I inspected - A very nice place. It is reasonably clean (bed sheets and towels are very clean but the carpet-floor a bit less; the toilet was clean but a bit rusted). We didn't try the swimmingpool. Air conditioning was a bit noisy but really great (couldn't do without it) and we had no problems with the creepy owner: staff was really nice.
