I liked everything at Sands Hotel, It was really professional, clean, the staff were very friendly. It's very conveniently located, across the road from El Dorado cinema, three bakeries (one of which opens at 5.00 am!), and a 24h supermarket.
On the same side of the hotel, there are laundromats, small cafes (one I would recommend is Captain Puff Pastry....delicious and very affordable local pizzas...loved the Kraft and honey), and some sports shops.

is also a bus station right in front in hotel, even though buses are
very slow in auh, pretty crowded and infrequent. Parking in hotel is
free which is good. If you rent a car you have to valet park it at hotel

Al Wahdah Mall is just round the corner. You can have great meals there without breaking the bank. Close to the main bus terminal. You take a bus on a day trip-shopping trip-to Dubai. You can go to Sharjah and from there visit all the other emirates. It is a conducive place to stay as it is your entry point to the UAE. Looking forward to staying there again and again.

I had travelled to Abu dhabi by road from muscat along with my family
including 2 kids. We had made the reservation through letsbookhotel.com few
hours before we started. This time we wanted to spend less on lodging
and spend more on fun and visiting places. After serious search, I could
only find very few hotels at this rate. Keeping fingers crossed made the
booking. Called the reception and obtained confirmation and conveyed to
them that we would be arriving mid night.

Excellent alternative to expensive 5* hotels. You have everything you
need. Rooms are simple, large and comfortable for families. Free wifi in
room and throughout hotel was excellent. Provision of floats and life
jackets for children from babies upwards at the swimming pool was
useful. Lifeguard on duty and paying close attention to people using the
pool area. Costa coffee inside the hotel offered snacks etc plus a
selection of other things. This hotel allows delivery from restaurants
outside.

This is the second time for me in this hotel and were generally establish a distinct and wonderful which is characterized by calm, peace and spectacular view of the room.I loved modern design of the room and various equipment and especially the bathroom and rainy shower. As well as the swimming pool is very suitable, especially for children.
For this I recommend this hotel to stay in Abu Dhabi.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool facility was a bonus. Taxis and right outside the door. I paid less for a six night stay here than I did for a three night stay right next door at the Staybridge Suites!

Location for my work at Airport.
Front desk staff were all very patient and efficient (especially as my booking wasn't recognised!!). Bar staff all very friendly. Swimming pool a bonus as it was particularly hot and humid this trip. I like the 24 hour deli for a quick sandwich or coffee. The business facilities were useful to me again.
