This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were very very comfortable and warm(especially in the spring weather we have at the moment!) the beds were comfy, the bathroom spacious, the room has everytthing you have in your own bedroom.....very much home from home feeling.
The staff were more than helpfull, even at 9pm they helped me!

The room is not large, but the smart use of the space makes it quite
comfotable. I have been to larger rooms that look much smaller than the
one I got. The family that runs the place is very friendly and helpful.
Everything is clean, good large windows and much light, all items modern
and in perfect maintenance. The breakfast is ok. The good value for the
money is the most important point. I would stay there again.
Although Heatherlea Guest House is very near to Manchester Airport it is very quiet. We had a very pleasant overnight stay there prior to flying off on holiday. We received a warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful owners Our room was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Its a short walk into Wilmslow where there are lots of eating places for an evening meal.
Good location. Not far from main town. Very friendly staff; a real homely feel about the place. Beautiful room with all the little details take care of e.g. Tissue box! clock radio etc. Very clean and the decor was lovely. Cooked to order breakfast which was delicious plus cereals, yoghurts, toast, grapefruit segments and fresh fruit. Real value for money!.
Stay here, it's just fantastic. Really friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, in a quiet leafy residential area south of Manchester and breakfast was excellent. The gardens are beautiful and the is plenty of space to park. This is not like staying at a hotel, it's like stopping over at your friend's house.

I was very stressed when I arrived because of family illness I was made
very welcome which calmed me down. The room was very comfortable and the
breakfast unbelievable value at£3 for an extensive choice which included
real coffee 10/10 thank you to the owners.
Very welcoming and helpful staff; great location for those who have an
early morning flight from Manchester airport; clean and tidy rooms; a
variety of bars and restaurants 15 minutes walk of the guest house (we
enjoyed a thai one).
extremely friendly reception, I landed very early in Manchester International and they let me check in in the early morning and get a rest. The house is very convenient for the airport.

I received a pre trip email explaining everything which saved me from phoning and was a nice introduction to the guest house.
I was allowed to check in earlier than the 4pm advised.
I was made to feel very welcome and I was offered to be taken free of charge to my daughters wedding at Stannylands hotel.The high point was the delicious breakfast for only £3.

Bathroom is very tiny with a small and uncomfortable shower cabin;
the guest house is situated a bit far from the town center (which is
not that bad as a 15 minutes walk is exactly what you need after a
good dinner).

They don't have reception, so if you come late you need to take your keys from the desk. But for me it was not a problem.
Although clean and well kept, I did find the decor a bit old fashioned and the furniture cheap "flat pack" type. Also the bathroom was very small and the shower weak.
When full the car parking is a touch restrictive, however the staff were always willing to go out of their way to help the guests with moving cars as necessary.
Would have liked sofa or easy chairs in room.
Parking- not much room for a large car to manoeuvre if other guests have parked first.
