  We loved everything about Wombwell Arms, staff, locals and the surrounding area and other guests that were there at the same time as we were. All the staff were brilliant. Wombwell Arms was very clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent as was the wine and the company of everybody. Loved the log fire, the remoteness and no phone signal. W... hva folk sier » e will defiantly return at the drop of a hat! Pure bliss, peacefullness and quietness. - Stayed before had to come back as memory sometimes plays tricks - it didn't!!! Really lovely warm welcome, very friendly and knowledgeable host, great location,(walks right from the door) a truly a fabulous country pub (great range of beers and wines), open fires , beams .etc etc. AND a well thought out and wide range of dinner choices (even for a vegetarian like me ) - one of the best breakfasts ever.We'll be back !
