  honest staff, 3 pound for transport to the airport is resonable price. - The hotel is very nice and clean, and it makes you really feel at ease! The owner is a lovely person: very welcoming! Finally, the continental breackfast is more than fulfilling and the lifts from and to the airport are note expensive at all.

  The staff were lovely and very accommodating The location - I have never been anywhere with so many pretty cottages, halls & countryside walks in such quick succession - utterly surprised (& I'm from the home counties with family in deepest Dorset & Devon) The food at The Cricketers is delicious - I hadn't looked up the menu before bo... hva folk sier » oking & so had considered dining out but on looking at the menu, I was convinced to stay put. They provide creative and traditional meals, present - Our room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. The bed & bedding were superb. We really enjoyed our evening meal, which is several cuts above 'pub grub'. The breakfast was especially good, with a wide range of choices, like the delicious Eggs Florentine I had. The service was very efficient and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The settin is a perfect example of an English village with a village green, & was very peaceful.
