The Belgravia Hotel is nearly 25 minutes far away from thames river, big ben, london eye.
location, price
breakfast
Location is terrific, staff pleasant and helpful, room clean and neat.
Room was very small.
The location is easily found. The bath room is clear. The price is fair.
The volume of the water in the bath room is very little, and the room is very cole. The bath room and toilet are too small, very difficult to turn around.
We got room on 4th floor without elevator!!!
its location
the kettle is not clean
polite staff, eggs for breakfast. close to chelsea flower show. no panic when we arrived at 11pm
breakfast could start earlier. 2nd floor bathroom needs updating
There was no way of switching the TV on and reception did not know where the remote control was. A spare did not work.
A quiet hotel for a good sleep.
noisy and different 'bosses' said different thing..
Staff were helpful, but did not appear to be experienced in effectively managing a hotel
Accommodation was adequate, but the private bathroom facilities were poor. A tiny room similar to caravan facilities.
wanting to charge to use visa cardand also charge to leave bags for a few hours on checking out
Wifi. Location.
Room was shabby, duvet and floor may not have been clean (looked grubby). Room v small - too small to open bathroom door. Low wattage light bulb, no bedside light. Sockets hanging off wall. Door lock didn't seem that secure.
Strong coffee in the morning and internet connection.Good location.
The window and door of the en-suite singe were not well isolated, so it was windy in the room. They did dot accept credit card because it was Good Friday. I had to ask twice for bill on paing cash.
Very poor bathroom facilities, shower leaked on to floor. Bed not very comfortable, noise at night from other guests
The Hotel si located near Victoria Station, which makes it convenient for late arrivals into London.
Unfortunately, the hotel was no what I expected and, more importantly, the pictures and the description on your website were misleading. The rooms were small and the facilities were not good (e.g. bathroom). Moreover the hotel staff refused payment by card, although the website states that cards are accepted.
LOCATION,staff,
Dirty pillowcase,brekfast,tiny shower that smelt
They did not state very clearly about the shower and toilet facility on the website.
clean
room was not what was expected - very crampt - wanted to change hotels but was unable. beds were squeezed into room - request for 3 beds not met.
not far from tube
It is really for backpackers - but iis over-priced for that market. The demand for cash when I arrived did not match the web description. There was actually nowhere to hang anything up. My coat had to lie on the bed and my belongings stay in the case! Breakfast was too late (8am).
The company
Comfort, shower, arrangement of room, tap was dripping all night
tourist
the room was far to small no wardrobe could not walk round bed
What we liked most about our stay at the hotel was when we left.
This hotel is rated as a 3 star but in reality it should be a half star. I realize hotel prices in old London are high, but this is hotel is more equivalent to a hostel them a hotel. The only feature that made us feel more comfortable was the staff that was really tried to help...but they knew nothing about the area so we could not use them for advice. Room were very old, small, and worn.
Breakfast were fine in contrast with the rest od hotel
Bathrooms with doesnt working toilets
The location
It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in and you could hardly call it an ensuite
location
dirty cups in room, mouldy shower cubicle and most disappointing of all was that a camp bed was provided instead of a proper bed and crammed into a single room with no warning and no discount offered.
central location and budget price.
terrible facilities. old and falling apart (drawer handle broke off). water heater not working well in middle of winter. room with toilet is pathetically small; suggest better off to book room with common toilet as reckon room might be bigger. floor is not clean and room is very old.
Absolutely nothing. It was a real disgrace.
In brief. No heating,no hot water, bathroom a disgrace.A damp carpet and a thin duvet, although on request they provided an extra duvet.
Not much. The room was very basic, but seemed clean.
The continental breakfast was appaling - we walked out and went down theroad to buy something edible. All ingredients were the cheapest kind andto be honest the hotel must have spent a long time researchin where toget such bad foon. The croissants were made of foam rubber, The meat wascat meat. The cheese was the individually wrapped processed cheese onlyslightly edible when on a burger!
Nothing!
Everything! The staff were difficult, trying to avoid taking a credit card then trying to appy a service fee! The room was tiny, the bathroom was miniture - a terrible experience, could not wait to leave!
I got a very bad feeling from this hotel - the staff member on dutydidn't seem to know of my booking when I arrived and there was muchconfusion. When he eventually checked and it had come through on hiscomputer I went to pay by card and he was almost demanding I go and getcash but I wanted to pay card but he said "it would cost them 10 Poundsif I paid card". I got a very bad vibe - avoid!!
Proximity to transport facilities.
The description of the hotel on the internet bears no resembelance to the actual hotel. Staff can bearly speak English. The "continental breakfast" was a joke. There appeared to be a plumbing problem as the shower drain could hardly cope. One afternoon there was an incredible stink from the one shared bathroom. Hot water was not always available. Certainly not 3 star!
room of a poor standard, there was also some domestic violence in the room next to us but no one from the hotel checked this out. disgraceful
cold shower, dust in room, broken beds. unfriendly staff who could hardly speak english, not accepting a creditcard.
It was dreadful! The staff could not speak any English and tried to force us to go to the cash point to pay cash rather than credit card - they made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. The room was dirty (though the sheets were clean), no safety checks on electric equipment, smelt of smoke, the en-suite was tiny no hot water and you could not close the door while you went to the toilet small
the location of the hotel was good
the bathroom and the room itself were very very small
I am 68 yrs. Old travelling alone, requested a ground floor room but wasgiven one right at the top of six lots of stairs with no lift and nohelp with luggage. No receipt was issued and I was not allowed to use mycredit card but had to pay cash. The bathroom was so tiny it wasimpossible to move and there was no hot water for a shower.
Walking distance to Victoria Station ( Gatwick Express )
The room / bed etc was woeful
Absolutely nothing.
This is a dreadful hotel. I was forced to pay for my stay before even seeing my room, and when I saw this, I decided to find an alternative hotel. Call this a 3 start hotel? This is a joke and an expensive one. People beware - avoid this hotel. It is grubby, the rooms are appalling, it is dirty, and it is unsafe. This is nothing more than a doss house. It should not even be listed on site.
The location. Behind Victoria Coach Station, and within short walking distance, so convenient if travelling with bulky luggage. The street is pretty with townhouses along it, many of which are also B&Bs
The staff is appalling. Our room was filthy. The TV didn't work, the flush didn't work, there were used tissues under the bed and general dust and dirt. No-one cared. The bteakfast should also be given a wide berth. Cheap products, nasty instant coffee and a general uncleanliness in relation to food, utensils, plates and a smell of sewerage. Beware. Avoid.
