I really loved the fact that the hostel was always clean and the staff constantly helpful. There was warm water all the time and the beds were really confortable.
Definitely recommended as a nice and cheap way to stay in London!
PS: It seems there are many people not knowing what a hostel is about. If these people want Hilton hotel services they should go to Hilton (and pay the relevant price). alle vurderinger »
I stayed for a month. Locations is very good, near Stephney Green Tube
Station, Sansbury and Tesco. The owner and staff are very friendly and
ready to help. Bed is confortable, showers are hot and clean. Wi-fi is
excelent and you can wash your clothes for free. Enjoy your stay, for
the price you pay here I'm 100% sure you can't find better
anywhere else in London. Would return!.
Very friendly staff, good service. Nice ambiance, common
room/kitchen felt like home, toilets were clean, always one or more
showers available (february), tube station at 100 meters. Big and for
London standards cheap supermarket at 10 minutes walk (Sainsbury's).
Good matrasses, except for one, the first night, next day they changed
it for a new one.
Really friendly staff. Without any doubts. Free locker box, if you have the lock. Free use washing machine, if you have the soup. Kitchen with microwave and everything you could need.
Location amazing, just in front Barclays bikes, and 3 min. Walking the tube STEPNEY GREEN. Good value for price.
Friendly staff, warm room, kitchen and laundry included in the common room. Good value for money and very close to bus and tube station. No budget tourist can walk across the road to the nearby tesco and prepare their food in the hostel. Toilets were clean.
- Kitchen and bedrooms are small, but have what you need.
- Bathrooms are kept clean constantly.
- Bedrooms are locked with a code; no card or key to lose.
- Very good connections to central London and ExCel London.
All the facilities (washing & drying machine, fridge & kettle in the room, wardrobe & shelves, kitchen with cooking utensils), supermarkets and tube/bus station very near, staff helpful.
- facilities in the room (fridge) and kitchen: very clean and comfortable; possibility to wash and dry your clothes if you stay longer
- localisation: 2 mins to metro station
- good wi-fi.
the staff was very helpful, the place was quiet and the washing machines could be used for free. Yippiieee!
i also found some very interesting books for travelers in the living room :-).
The staff was very nice and helpful. Although the hostel was very cheap, the decor was quite good. Great location, there is an underground station 1m from the hostel doors.
1.It's very clean.(they clean toilet very hard)
2.The roommates i met it's cool and they all friendly.
3.Lounge is comfortable and big enough.
4.Wifi is good.
Friendly and helpful staff, good location only 3 mins from the underground and close to shops, good facilities within the hostel.
the staff is very kind, the services are in good condition and the hostel, in general, is clean. Bed and sheets are very cozy.
the staff was always there willing to help and accomodate your needs. Basic facilities but very clean. Good value for money.Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Great people passing through as well. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Rooms were very clean, stuff was kind I suggest this place for thoose jung people how would like to know this city.
they offer free WiFi and wash machine, the kitchen and public area are not big but warm and comfortable.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Although the hostel was very cheap, the decor was quite good.
Staff is nice. Price is good as well, its also convenient to get to underground and bus stop.
Attentive staff, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, good value for money.
Great location. Great value for money. Clean and with many facilities.

Staff are very helpful.
smoking sunny terrace.
All of it.
location.
mate.
Best.
The price is one of the lowest found for hostels in London, and the quality is good enough for that price. Facilities are very simple but suffice for the average backpacker. Communication with staff was okay. Rooms with four beds only are a lot better than what you usually find in hostels (8-16). On average the hostel was very quiet.
Basic but clean place, far off from central london but very close to a tube station. Good Value for Money for London Standards. Comfortable bed.
Price reflected the accommodation.
Sharing with strangers of the opposite sex was 'interesting' but a little respect and common courtesy helped.
It was really close to the city center (bus lines 25 & 205) and close to Liverpool St. Station (perfect if you are coming from Stansted).
Room was clean. Staff were friendly.Very convenient location.
5 mins walk from raw stepney green metro station, which is good. There
are washing machine as well as drying machine, very convenient for those
who are going for a long journey. Had a nice time chatting with
roommates. Not a bad choice for a limited budget.
Very near to underground station and bus station. Price worthy.
It was right near the train and bus stop which is good.
Really cheap.
No things.
Avoid room number 1, a bit noisy. Make sure you get there before 22:00
otherwise you might not be able to get in.
Walls were like paper, lot of noice coming from the streets (police,
ambulance sirenes all night long and people passing by), I really
recomand people to bring earplugs! After we put them in, we slept
like roses!.
The bed was a little bit too short for me, but I'm 187cm tall. The shower was acceptable.
CCTV everywhere except bed rooms and bathrooms.
Showers are often cold and the bathroom generally is not really heated up.
- hostel placed in East London, that means not very safety neighbourhood.
- too small deposit boxes
- tiny rooms.
on my arrival, I thought that I had already paid the full amount for my stay, but only a small amount was charged on my card. In case I wouldn't have a card or enough cash with me, it might prove a problem. Maybe this policy should be made more clear during the booking.
i also have to report that the plumbings had some problems, but the staff were always willing to help.
Very small double room, but not a problem since there is a lounge.
Some part of bed is not flat, i though it may lose flexibility.
Some rooms are very small, nothing unliveable, but you might need to be a little adaptive.
there is no clear sign from Mile End street where the hostel is.
The windows were closed.
The sign is not prominent.
Check in times are very limited and strict.
No adapters for european devices in the room.
Was hard to find the hostel as they have no sign boards.
no toilet paper in the morning before manager came to the job, then this problem has been fixed pretty quickly but the fact has negative impression when you really need it but it absent.
Hard to find, even with the street no., u still got no idea where the hostel is.
reception closed after 8pm . you have to check in upto that time.
actually there is not any terrace is just an empty place with some huge air conditoning around.
Very important for the lockers, people must bring their own padlock but if yours is small one it wont close although apparently it seems closed. I already complaint about the fact that no one warn you about it but with apparently the don't care. I do care if my 1000 euros ipad is inside.
The hostel should at least have a signboard for us to look for, their door is so hidden and I could hardly find it.
I slept in room no. 1, the windows faced a pretty busy road. Kind of hard to sleep if you're not used to the sound of cars passing by all night.
Small room, small and busy common places. The district is not the best in London but is OK.
Showers in poor repair. Windows that don't open.
Bathroom and toilet were cold.
Stairs are steep and narrow, I am afraid to say that rooms and bahrooms
aren't clean enough.
Tiny, very hot room due to the hot weather.
London is crowded and noisy to be honest. So I guess anywhere would be hard to have peace of mind in London.
Rooms are very very small! Beds are really uncomfortable and this part of London is really noisy, because of multicultural citizens...
All things.
The siren coming from police car and ambulance on the street is disturbing and sleeping is not easy. The location of the hostel is near to an underground station. Facility was terrible as well. The showers often do not function properly. Neither the temperature nor the water flow was good. The staff wasn't very friendly or pleasant (specially at the reception).
