Great location, lovely rooms, a true 5* hotel.
The building is decor is wonderful and the staff were discrete and polite making a very relacing choice of hotel.
The river view promised was a side window looking at London Eye rather than a river view. The cold tap in bathroom didn't work so hot water for brushing teeth. The breakfast was not good by Marriott standards, real akward arrangement for storing the hot breakfast selection made plating up difficult and the cold plates meant that by time you finish eating your breakfast is cold.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Hotel location, room good size and everything that needed.

Fantastic location, wonderful service, excellent dining and a lovely personal touch. Although it is one of the more expensive hotels in the area, you do get what you pay for in this case.
Strange that Marriot Guest wifi needed payment and Marriot public was free?
Efficient reception staff and a delightful room.
Breakfast was not good. Items on menu not available, and service poor. I ordered poached eggs on toast & the toast arrived after having eaten the eggs. Reception waived the charge.
Excellent location with view ti Big Ben. Very central to everything and beautifully appointed.
Sports and leisure facilities. Staff meet and greet cocktail evening with guests. Good quality food at breakfast.
Location, staff friendliness helpfullness
Our room overlooked the river. It was well maintained and very clean.The beds were wonderfully comfortable with big feather pillows.The room had plenty of plugs,fluffy white towel dressing gowns,ironing board etc. everything we needed without having to ask. The full English breakfast was big enough to share between two. A lovely place to relax in great comfort.
No complimentary bath slippers. No complimentary bottled water. One set of body wash and shampoo between two and only one shower cap. Not over generous with the tea and coffee sachets.
Fabulous location with parking. Nice room. Good Pool area.
A little bit expensive in the bar and restuarnat.

to be charged a service charge of 43 pstg on top of the bill in the restuarant rather than have the service charge in the prices to charge 15 pstg per day for wifi which basically costs nothing,is totally out of style with the rest of the hotel

Bathroom had been cleaned when we got there but not properly. One of the men on reception was not very friendly
We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch. I shall return again soon.The County Hall Marriot is a perfect holiday hotel.
Great Location
staff were unhelpful and rude also due to a payment issue the hotel cancelled our room cards so when we came back to the rooms we were locked out until I paid in full would never stay at a Marriot hotel ever again.
Location, ice machine, reception and power shower.
Poor quality mattress, leaking tap, broken tiles on bathroom floor, miserable waitress at breakfast, poor service from housekeeping - bathroom floor not mopped during interim clean and staff knocked on bedroom door at 9am and at 1030 on day of departure, to ask what time room would be available for cleaning! Not impressed. Would not describe as five star. Would return or recommend this hotel. I suspect poor/weak management.
