staff
The location was ideal, just a short walk to lambeth north and straight onto bakerloo line. You could get to the london eye in about 12 minutes. I was booked into a 15 bed dorm but was put in a 6 bed female so that was a bonus as a single traveller staying for 4 nts. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean, I was in room 13 which was on the ground floor right next to the toilets and the shower, another bonus. Breakfast was ok, limited items, ceral and bread for taosting. If you wernt quivk enough there would be no bread left. I traveled to london for business and would stay here again if I was on my own.
one shower was always cold and only trickles of water would come out. No access to tea/coffee throughout the day only at breakfast. Although very close to the eye you did have to walk through a slightly scary looking tunnel, but can take a longer alternative. Thses are very small down points.
The staff was friendly, and being a single girl alone in a big city hostel, I felt perfectly safe staying here. I stayed in a female only dorm with a keypad to get in. I enjoyed talking to a lot of different people in the main lounge, the location is excellent for any London adventurer and will definitely use this place again!
The staff was very kind. The atmosphere was very nice
the hostel is placed in near of the london eye, so location is good. and it's low cost. less than 20 pounds a day. and most of it, reception is very friendly.
perfect location, value for money, friendly staffs
bit congested washroom facilities
The hostel was clean and I noticed owners pay much attention to it. It's suitable for the travellers who prefer staying for 3-4 days. The sheets were clean and the staff was very nice. Good location.
I liked all, all the Hostel was perfect, the staff were pleasant and they resolved all my doubts, and all, because i had a small problem with the plug and they were very attent to give me a solution. The ubication of the hostel is perfect, only 10 or 15 min to Weistminster, and very close from the Lambeth North underground. The hostel was absolutly clean and is a very good place to meet people from different countries. I recommend this hostel, is very nice
The price 15 GBP/night breakfast incl. Over letsbookhotel.com That it still had free places. Good location. Good staff. Kitchen to use. I have slept suprizingly well. 12 bed room was suprizingly quiet. Good temperature and ventilation. Free WiFi - but often slow, unreliable.
Constantly running tv in the hall, no quiet room with table or couch. Almost full 12 bed mixed-sex room.
All
The staff is awesome and they will try to make your stay as comfy as they can, the metro is really close
The room was to hot and a bit crowded maybe you should take out a bunk bed 15 people in that little space is to much
You really get what you pay for. For this price you just sleep and get out in the morning.
Too little supplies for the breakfast for everybody.
very closer from london eye
very smll bad and no hot water
Location
I had a bed in 15-bedrooms room. Socket near my bed didn`t work. I had noisy neighbours and absolutely can`t sleep at night. Breakfast was very poor (only bread).
Location.
18 persons in 20 sq.m. room. Terrible sound of ventilator all the night.
Lamp and electric sockets beside each bed. Good price. Free breakfast. Large common area.
Have to walk for 10 to15 minutes from Lambeth North station. The area is quite scary at night (nothing dangerous actually, just that the street is always empty). Very crowded and not so clean.
Good position (zone 1 close to the underground station), free wifi, dayly cleaning.
The room was too small for 14 people ( I mean no space, and noisy all the time)
Free Wifi
Hard to find.. No explicit directions in the website. fix that please!
the shower waterflow system needs plenty of improvement, it's too soft and it's hard for us to shower. The internet connection is only bonded in the lobby, should make it wider so people in their room are able to use the wi-fi.
nothing.
have stayed at three other south london hostels at a similar price and this is by far the worst. unfriendly check-in, no towels to hire, fixtures&fittings all seemed worn out and tatty. bunks are stacked three high. seemed lack of toilets/showers.
Localisation is the only good thing...
No hot water. Dirty bathrooms, mold and holes in walls. Poor wifi. Breakfast - its bread and jam + flakes. This place needs a decent repairs.
Cheap bed when everything else in London was super expensive! Thumb up for that! Also the location was great for my purpose (looking at rooms in south and east London) - I could reach everything very easily by tube or with my skates...
The sink of the shower was blocked + toilets too irregularly emptied (trash) and cleaned, but still ok. I didn't expect there to be so (!) little space in the dorms, but as soon as you get used to it.. - just be aware that you can sleep there, but not do much more (even packing up your stuff is a bit tricky) ;-)
Location was perfect for us. This was the best thing about the hostel. Liked that we were able to take a triple room for two of us (mind you, we paid for it!). The cleaning staff were very friendly in the mornings.
Not a good first impression - Rude receptionist. Information on website/letsbookhotel.com is INCORRECT - it is impossible to check in before 16hrs. This must be corrected as it is simply misleading. WiFi not functional for the majority of our stay. Plumbing problems - Leaks around showers, sinks blocked.
positon
a lot...
The location is the best thing I appreciated. The receptionist gave me chance to change room because the assigned berth did not have lighting and electric socket. Free wifi
Poor Facilities (2 tiny toilets often out of service, a baby sink for more than 50 people) Poor ordinary maintenance ( no lights in the toilets, no hot water in 3rd level shower) Crowded rooms
Just cheap if you want cheap place, not considering anything else this place not bad
Too many people but too cramped, so I can't use kitchen or table when I want to use it, and room isn't soundproof
The hotel is very dirty. The rate is not comparable with the fasilities provided. The facilities are very poor. sofa in the lobby of the hotel was dirty and torn so that makes us uncomfortable to sit. Kitchens, bathrooms and toilets are very dirty and beyond the standard.
Nothing at all.
Don't do it, just don't.
The only acceptable thing is the location, 10-15 minutes from BigBen, London Eye...
One of the worst places I have been in my life (and I travel a lot). Check In is from 4 pm. The staff was not very nice. WiFi didn't work the most of the time. The heating was off for the whole first day and night. The room was small and uncomfortable. The bathroom was disgasting (hairs everywere, dirty underwear pieces beside the sink, papers with blood on the floor...). We paid 95 pounds per night for a double room; for near prices there are much better places in London
The breakfast was a rubish, old,dirty..
Services, internal logistic not structured, reduce space
nothing really ...
Bathrooms were not clean, toilet even worse, rooms are not too bad, but not quite good for the price. Public facilities are awful. I have never been in a hostel with such an unpleasant staff. It is quite far from the City and in a very bad area.
PowerPoint and head light on my bed. But nothing else!
Showers were disgustingly dirty, room had no curtains and with the hostel sign and lights right by my face I got limited sleep. The room was always hot and the staff were unhelpful. Not a happy stay. Glad I have stayed in other happy environments as restored my faith in hostels.
