The owner was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. OK the decor is a bid dated but NOT tatty/grubby, it's no boutique hotel but that was of no concern to me! The whole place is very clean and the bed was comfy.

The owners of Cambrian house are so welcoming and friendly with good knowledge of the surrounding areas. Breakfast was lovely and everything you coul possibly want if available There is no doubt that the building needs some attention, but for the cost an location it's well worth a stay.

We had dinner in the Royal Hotel Restaurant. it was very enjoyable good steak and the wine wasfirst class. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was a perfect location for our stay. We found our room to be spacious and the view of the river was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were going to a funeral the following day and wanted a peaceful place to stay.
We found all staff friendly, our room overlooked the river which made our stay tranquil. Nothing was too much for staff.
The breakfast was 5 star - excellent, hot, hot, hot. The staff in dining room were very efficient.
I would stay again for the location and the effeciency on requirements.

Great size room, very clean. Kids loved the lounge room with the huge selection of games for them to play. Great to have the use of a very clean , fully equipped kitchen too. Would definitely recommend to others and use again ourselves.
