  I liked everything! A very friendly welcome from Simon who showed me round & explained everything. I stayed in Stable no.2 & it was lovely, comfortable bed & good quality bedding. Struggled to get out of it in the morning! I arrived at 4pm and was able to sit out by the field in the sun, very nice! I liked having the kitchenette. Lovely setting, really peaceful - Owner was great - extremely helpful and very friendly. He kindly gave us a lift into town as a favour and was full of advice about fun things to do locally. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and made you feel very welcome. The same can be said of The adjoining Brewers Fayre. The food was as expected for the restaurant chain, the staff again put this above others I've eaten at. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was large with a spacious bath thru the wardrobe (I kept expeciting to open the wardrobe to - Cheriton House is situated in a quiet part of the village of Houghton, near Huntingdon. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, even taking us by car to our daughter's house in Hartford on one occasion. You can get around by an efficient bus service. Breakfasts were excellent with bread made from nearby Houghton Mill and home made jam and marmalade Church just across the road has magnificent kneelers. Worth a visit if it is open.
