Very big rooms!!!! So you have a lot of space for your luggage etc. You can really feel and see that this is a brand new hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return! PS, they don't have a car park, but it is not a problem as they have a lot of vey cheap parking facilities just around the corner.
No nonsense hotel at it's best. No fancy details or decorations, but whatever provided is modern and high standard. Beds are great, bathroom clean, nice LCD tv in the room.
The location near Glasgow Queens station was perfect for us and made our travels very convenient. Also very near to some main shopping areas.
This hotel is perfect for a city break. It is right in the heart if Glasgow and i was concerned about noise but this need not have bedn, it was so quiet both in the room and dining area, amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The standard of cleanliness was first class. Can not recommend it enough.
Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was spotless. Bed was very comfy guaranteed good night sleep.Even though we had a room overlooking street there was no noise. Great location central to both shops and nightlife. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
This place was very welcoming. Multiple ways to check-in. I even joined the membership, thats how pleasant the hotel was. Fresh fruit and water waiting as I walked into my room. Love the tall windows in the room with a great view as well. The room was extra comfortable.
i had facebooked the hotel to ask for early check inn as i was taken my partner to a celtic park tour as birthday treat .we wer allowed to check in at 1300hrs they upgraded room & left a birthday message & chicolate cup cake for kenny a lovely touch.
Excellent central location just a couple of minutes walk to transport links, shops, bars and restaurants. Very clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms extremely comfortable and spacious. I would definately stay here again.
Excellent location in Glasgow, walking distance to Central and Queen street stations, shopping and plenty of restaurants around. Staff is really friendly and willing to give advice on the city. The hotel is minimalistic, new and very clean.
It was exceptionally well-located - easy walking distance from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street stations;
it was incredibly cheap;
the room was large, very clean, very comfortable; there was a Wetherspoons next door!.
The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the city with access
to public transport. Staff was very helpful and excellent. Breakfast was
very good though charged extra. Facilities and cleanliness were quite
satisfactory.
Stayed there twice now. Lovely new hotel. Beds extremely comfortable, rooms immaculate, staff lovely and friendly and excellent location with some good pubs on the door step. Already looking to book another night there soon.
was given upgrade as it was my 50th birthday.staff also gave lovely gesture in our room birthday card bubbly and birthday cupcake with candle .hqd brillant weekend.staff lovely friendly and attentive.
Fantastic staff, energetic, enthusiastic and very helpful. The location is superb and the rooms were spotless, big and well presented. An excellent place to stay in Glasgow.
liked the location as we were up from Manchester for the Great Scottish run. Staff friendly and helpful, very relaxed atmosphere.Room a tad dull as only one small window.
Convenient location
Pleasant and helpful staff
Comfortable bed
Car parking in Oswald St car park - the hotel has a deal £7 for 24hrs (not mentioned on hotel website).
Very clean room
Lovely bathroom
Great location
Room 302 had a great view of gothic/period building
Great choice for breakfast though potato scones had run out!.
Service was superb, rooms beautiful and very clean. Excellent location for city activities. Shopping, night life etc. very comfortable relaxed atmosphere!.
Quick check-in, large rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast layout (simple but for a budget hotel not bad). Good location.
Great location. It's close to city centre and railway stations. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. WiFi also good.
Location was excellent.
Staff were more than helpful and very friendly.
Hotel was beautiful, very clean and well maintained.
The staff were lovely. The rooms are small but efficiently laid out. It is located in a perfect area to walk everywhere.
City location. New facilities. Design. Staff were friendly. In room Ironing facilities. Fruit on arrival and water.
Rooms are modern and well equipped. Staff, particularly Johnny on Reception, go the extra mile to help, EXCELLENT!!.
6 month old hotel pretty central & really clean & well laid out. Good value for money, I would recommend.
Spacious rooms, Design bathrooms, free WiFi, friendly staff, central location, comfortable beds, design lighting.
The location is very good. Room was comfortable and the bed & pillows are the best. Staff are very helpful.
Location very central, modern, very comfortable bed, no noise from road or other guests, reasonable price.
The rooms were incredibly comfy, the staff were friendly and accommodating and its in a prime location.
A new hotel I loved the fact that the staff were amazing. From the bar staff to the management.
Lots of space in the rooms. Comfortable beds.
Clean and Fresh.
All the facilities we needed.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, and very comfortable and clean room.
Spacious comfortable room with a great bed. Friendly staff. Very convenient location.
Very handy to the Central Railway Station, good shopping & restaurants nearby.
Staff were excellent. Rooms were clean and quiet. Ticks in all the right places.
recently opened hotel so everything was new.
Friendly staff
Excellent location.
Bed and space in room(plenty of space for additional chair) - overall comfort.
Excellent clean and comfortable rooms. Location is ideal for the city centre.
Central location, friendly staff, nice big rooms and bathrooms.
Free wifi.
Nice modern rooms, clean and very central location. Staff very pleasant.
Good sized room with very modern, functional decor. Full hotel service.
Great staff, excellent location, good facilities, and great breakfast!.
The central location, modern environment and helpful friendly staff.
The location was great, the room was modern and spotlessly clean.
Everything and hence why this is the 3rd visit in two months!.
Clean modern rooms
Very convenient for Glasgow town centre.
Location was fantastic and everything was fresh.and new.
Very good customer service and made you feel welcome.
Very comfortable bed
Very helpful and friendly staff.
All staff were so helpul and effocient and smiled!!.
One out of the three rooms we occupied couldn't open the windows. The air inside was a bit smelly, probably from some recent decoration works.
Only entrance we coup see into hotel was up steps. May not suit anyone with mobility problems. Also bathroom in room quiet small.
Only minor thing: squeaky floor, i.e., can hear when someone above is walking.
If breakfast was included in the package value for money would have been
categorized as "Good".
room a little dull only one small window looking out on scaffolding!.
Lack of storage space - just a wardrobe, no drawers - and a small shelf under the bathroom sink
Very little natural light in the room.
Key holder faulty - had to push it in to wall to get it to work
Curtain off rail so it gaped when closed
No room service!
Choice of healthy food quite limited
Chose meze which wasn't particularly good value for money.
Wouldn't change a thing.
Brand new but slightly cheap looking. Night menu (after 10pm) was presented to me as a A4 print out rather than a proper menu. Choice on that menu was too simple. Tomato soup was awful, almost like jelly in consistency. One of the night staff didn't know what to do when I mentioned dinner was part of my booking deal, was up to me to discuss how to solve it.
Loved Everything !!!!.
The maids were loud in the am. Soundproofing could be better. And the wifi was iffy at times.
Self check in - terrible. Location of TV pepindicular to bed felt odd. Street noises could be heard.
Nothing.
N/A.
Cannot fault the place
.
Lack of storage space in room, and shelving in bathroom, not female friendly .
The prices for food and drinks were pretty steep.
Nothing.
Breakfasts although good were too expensive.
Was only in Glasgow for one night!.
B'room needed extra shelf for personal toiletry - shower strength could be better but still good and plenty of room - could do with 2 (not1) chairs as its a double room - front reception is a bit basic.
Couldn't get food from the restaurant at 4 o'clock on the Saturday afternoon, because apparently the chef was cleaning his oven.
No level access to the hotel for people with luggage and steep steps - not safe.
When I returned early afternoon to collect luggage there was no one in the hotel public area including reception and no way of attracting attention. - just needs a bell at the reception counter.
Nothing.
Check-in desk very small so took some time. We were awoken by a fire
alarm just as we were settling down to sleep one night - had to evacuate
but this turned out to be a false alarm. Promised dressing gowns and
slippers were not provided in our superior room.
I wondered why there were so many doors, it is a bit like a maze, and some on the top floor are very heavy with narrow entrances you need to squeeze through. Not easy when you are on your own. But this is a minor quibble. Please also make sure you activate room cards for the full length of stay, I kept needing to get mine re activated.
Lack of toiletries in the room and the tv was not working. I think a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner etc. would be good as it is a hotel which probably has a lot of shoppers etc. staying for a night and this would save having to carry this when on their trip.
Rooms were nice but tiny. £100 per night! A bit on the expensive side for a small room.
When I book, I specifically ask for "TWIN" room and on arrival
I get a king size room. It has not been a problem as they have been able
to accomodate the change. The hotel is saying that it is
"letsbookhotel.com" that is not pasing the information on! I have
never had this problem before.
Touch screen reception is a bad idea
Breakfast was very average.
Television sound didn't work throughout wknd but we were given a complimentary drink because of it.
Breakfast - luke warm tea (self make) and cooked food onto cold plates.
Nothing at sll.
