Location was great, lots of walks without driving anywhere. Grounds were lovely and you could sit outside and relax. Choice in restraurant was good,as was the food and reasonbly priced too.Beds were comfortable and room was spacious with adequate facilities. Good lounge and bar area which were very clean and relaxing. -

Breakfast choices were admirable. Janet and John are welcoming and very friendly. Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits.

I was extremely pleased with my stay in the Castle Green B&B. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time.
Exceeded my expectations and would go back.

Sue & John were very attentive at all times, We stayed in the Derwent suite which was very spacious and comfortable, with a top speck bathroom. Excellent guest lounge where tea & home made cake was served on arrival ( very nice !!!!!! ) Good view's over Matlock Bath. all in all a very pleasant stay. Thank's to Sue & John ***** -

The Garden suite was well appointed, self contained and had a huge spa bath!. We had use of the extensive gardens, which were beautiful. The B&B was in a very friendly village. The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us. In the morning we had a hearty full English breakfast that set us up for the day nicely. Fabulous place to stay :)
